Just wondering. It wouldn't have to be very powerful, a little more powerful than cell phone vibration should do? I don't see why it'sabad idea.akodikosako
I think it might shorten the battery life which most user might concern. Also wouldnt it possible it'll break the system from all the rumble??? lol
Probably has a lot to do with battery life and/or the annoyance of trying to focus on a vibrating screen.Mrcod11
Yeah Nintendo has done it a couple of times already. It will cut down on battery life, no question about it. Any moving part will suck the battery life out of a handheld, not something you want if you're on a long trip. Course probably would be okay for at home. This probably isn't to mention that rumble does take up space, and space is important when it comes to handhelds.

Battery? Hello?
It's the same reason the handheld has the features it has....and the features it doesn't. BATTERY LIFE.
Maybe they'll incorporate it into the next-gen handhelds or even the next version of the DS. I wouldn't worry about the battery life too much. I don't think rumble would use up that much power. At least not as much power as the PSP uses to read/run its UMDs.
Do any of you guys have a cell phone? Vibrating doesn't suck the juice out of batteries.
Seriously.

Seriously, do you have a cell phone?
You should know the answer before you posted, then.
Cell Phones don't Vibrate all day, and furthermore, they are much smaller. Not to mention the fact that the vibration's may not be good for the components inside the machine, or helping the user drop their new "Toy".
That's what handhelds are, a toy. An expensive Toy.
