I'm still waiting for the wii to really show me something that shows that it's in the "right" direction imo. Meaning that I want to see some more games that put story infront of the gameplay.. sorta. I think that the controller might be a bit "gimicky" and games can't live on the controller forever, and that developers will have to put effort into the games story/development in the future.
that said I want the wii to be sucsessful (and I'm sure it will be) but it has to come with games that intrest me personally, the controller "wow factor" won't last through the next 4-6 years,  for me to buy one tbh :)
. . cuz wii is for non-gamers.carl2tan
thats complete crap
anyways on topic i camped 6 hours for one, and yes, got one (i also have a 360)Â
I don't have time to work at the moment, and there are not enough games that suit my personal taste.
Plus I have to buy a PS3 too. I'll get a Wii 2 or 3 years down the line, though.Â
1) Games don't interest me at all. Nintendo needs some new franchises.
2) The last gen graphics. Yes, gameplay > graphics, but its still a big aspect any game.
3) Online is no where near the level of PC or 360. Multiplayer is a lot more important to me than single player.
4) Not really into the whole motion sensing controller.
5) Lack of mature games (Killer 7 and RE4 are the only 2 original titles I can remember for the cube that were M). Many of my favorite games/genres are mostly M, the Fallout series, the Diablo series, Doom/Half Life/Halo/Gears, ect. Like it or not, Nintendo has a "kiddy" image among parents/casuals and it isn't going away, so I'm not expecting many M rated games for the Wii.
Â
I can see the appeal of the wii, just not interested in the motion control. Hardware seems lacking and the upcoming games seem lacking.
I have a gamecube with about 20 games and barely any 1st party titles.  Have no interest in mario. Tried metroid prime but i just could not get into it, maybe i'll try again later.Â
I already owned a gamecube and wasn't impressed. I can't imagine that adding a cool controller to said gamecube would have made a difference. Â Â
P.S...how are Wii owners going to play Madden on a Wii? OH wait...they probably can't. Â

Good for you guys. Nothing like selling an old product to the consumer and claiming it to be something new. Â

what does the PSP have to do with this? *pa-da-tiss*Nintendo is dead to me, and this is coming from a person who thinks the N64 was one of the greatest consoles ever made!!!
