Why holiday 2011 will be a disaster for the 360 despite what lemmings say

People are quick to assume that the 360 will be having a great holiday in their 2 great games when in reality the only 2 games are likely to flop.

• Forza 4 -.Not as good as GT5 because of the sales. No one even cares about racing sims anymore. Probably just a rehash of Forza 3, Gamespot hates rehashes so probably going to flop 8.5 I presume.
• Gears 3 - Again with the rehashes, probably going to be the same as Gears1 and Gears2, and Gears 2 sucked so Gears 3 will suck too. Its going to have the same glitchy mutiplayer as always.

The PS3 is the 360s main competition, and this whole notion that all its games are going to flop couldn't be further from the truth. It will satisfy both.

• Ico collection - the artistic masterpiece comes to PS3 with 720p and 3D, the kind of game 360 will never have
• God of war Origins - Complete HD remakes of 2 of the best PSP games.
• Disgaea 4 - The best SRPG franchise return, it will be the best one yet. It also has a huge following. Im hyping AAA
• Resistance 3 - Sequel to one of the premier AAA(R2) FPS franchise that is much better than halo, it will be quite a match for MW3 this holiday And if these recent pics are anything to go by, it will be up there for the award of best looking game of 2011.
• Twisted Metal - David Jaffe, one of the best devs heading the team is AAA for sure and it has a huge following, and also the nostalgic factor.
• Uncharted 3 - Best game of this gen, GOTY.Perfect 10, nothing will match it. And its multiplayer will remain as popular as ever for people who want a break from FPS.
• R&C All 4 One - has a chance of AAA

So if you look at it for MS: Only a rehashes likely to flop anyways with this holiday, the console will get outsold by PS3 globally that is just sad considering the year head start. MS will continue to support that casual kiddy crap Kinect while Sony will have tons more games, 3D, Move(much better than kinect) and don't forget PS Vita.

Wii isn't really worth mentioning. They have Zelda. woop.

no heres the real reason it be disaster for 360 , this holiday

vita -if it arives , 3ds and its games

and the few wii and ps3 titles that are coming thats one deadly combination i think nintendo has slight edge due to games coming for 3ds , and wii but ps3 will wipe the floor with 360 especailly in japan , lol but japan i mean the console market over there is drying up , if you look the highest selling console per week is ps3 at a mear 16 thousand ,the wii has been in the 7-8 thousand range and360 was always dead , along with the old ps2 still down there

they need it , they need wii u fast because -- i dont think ps3 or wii much time for japan ,

but else where ps3 and wii will no doubt ,, kill off any hopes for 360 , remember 360 stillsells for 300 wii sells for 150 , lol or 99 used

The thread lost any and all credability when you said GT is better than Forza because of sales and that 360 only has rehashes (bad thing) then went on to name HD remakes for the PS3 (good thing).

First off, Forza 3 is miles better than GT5. And if Gears of War 3 is a rehash than so is Unchated 3, which from what I've seen is exactly the same as Uncharted 2 but with slightly better graphics and improved multiplayer. And I can almost guarentee you it won't get a 10. And the Resistance series is nowhere near as good as Halo, and the idea that it'll contest Modern Warfare 3 in sales this holiday is plain stupid. And All 4 One is tenth Ratchet and Clank to come out in the past nine years. And you say that Move is much better than Kinect despite the fact that it has very few good games for it, and at least Microsoft is supporting Kinect. Sony made move and pretty much forgot about it, though they did show off some move games at E3.

you forgot the multiplats skyrim arkham city and BF 3 look awesome imma get those and uncharted and i'll be set until 2012

Uh, listen here fanboy, Forza Motorsport has scored, 9.2, 9.5 and 9.5 so far. To think that with it's every two year release schedule that GS has constantly given it over a 9.0 makes you think it's going to flop because it's a rehash? Meanwhile, Gran Turismo is a AA franchise on here, and not just GT5, but almost the entire series.

As far as Gears of War 3, I agree that Gears 2 wasn't a good game. I didn't like it. I sold it just recently, though I kept the original. Great shooter. Gears 3 however looks so much better than Gears 2 it's ridiculous.

Furthermore, in regards to Resistance 3 actually looking good.... :lol: OMFG that game looks TERRIBLE!
