RRoD, no blu-ray, no wi-fi, expensive live fees. I don't get it.briand07
Who said anyone really is? 17 Million, but its a five year machine. It won't ultimately do any better than the original Xbox - simply because it doesn't have too much left in the tank. PS3 is 18 Months into a ten year life, on the other hand - and has already sold 10.5 - despite being more expensive.
Its simple - outside the net, the 360 is nothing.

First off even though blu-ray won which is great now there is only 1 High Def format, most people still prefer DVD cause guess what its cheaper. Secondly most people don't care about Wi-Fi. The RROD is covered by a 3 year warranty so you don't pay anything to get it fixed. Lastly 50 dollars a year is not expensive. I don't understand why people continue to gripe about it. If you have a job then 50 dollars a year is not that much.
Oh and i forgot the main reason why people buy the 360 is because of its game library.
It's been pointed out to me that this place is called system wars not game wars so yeah, as soon as you remove the better game lineup on 360 it loses. :lol:Riverwolf007
LOL, so to make the ps3 look good you have to take all the games away from the 360???
LOL wow cows
Don't know why you would? Why anyone would support MS with all their arrogance, hidden fees and charges and defects is beyone me.
Games??? Most goto PC or PS3 anyway.

...The irony in this post is borderline hilarious.
yea considering the most arrogant this generation has been sony. Remember the phrase "The next generation doesn't start till we say it does". Man they looked stupid.

I agree, without games any GAMES console is nothing. Good thing it has:
Uncharted
Uncharted 2
Black 2
GTA IV (Which most casual gamers still think is a 'Playstation game')
GT 5
FF13
Tekken 6
Killzone 2 - probably Killzone 3
Resistance 2 - probably Resistance 3
LittleBigPlanet
The Agency
Wipeout
Metal Gear solid 4
Metal Gear Solid online
And hey ... most of those are for just this year alone. This 'PS3 has no games' excuse is laughable.

So your saying that consoles later in their life don't do that good. Well i think the ps2 feels insulted because it actually sold really well later in its life compared to early in its life.

Hmm, i think I have a cure for y-*bursts out laughing* I couldn't even finish typing that.
I think even with the crappy hardware the fact the it still sells and has delivered a quality gaming experience (when it works) with little support from Japan and MS haters constantly bashing it (sometimes deserved) is an accomplishment in itself.
A good question though. I would assume people like the games and Xbl integration. That's why I bought it.

huh? that argument is completely counterintuitive. do you use your PS3 for games, or just a multimedia device?

The PS2 is selling like crazy 8 years after its release. It will make ten easily. Lemmings hate the fact that the PS3 will be selling Millions long after the 360 is pulled from production. HATE it.
It may not represent the community at large, but the good folks at GameFAQs seem to think that anything past DVD is still unnecesary:
And honestly, I agree. The upgrade still won't be worth it until the players get way cheaper.

Actually, that DOES represent the mass opinion. With fewer than 6% of TV sales consisting of HDTVs, I didn't expect the victor of that HD format war to really reap the fruits of victory for years to come afterwards.

(but seriously, last time i checked it plays games right? you buy a gaming machine to play games right?)
