Come on people its a dragon flying game. Every other game that has that either sucked or nobody played it. Besides the graphics, there s nothing new or revolutionary about this game. It doesn't even look fun. DRAGON COMBAT IS BORING. The only people that will notadmit that are ps3 fanboys. The only thing that could save this game would be on foot missions (without the stupid dragon). There are alot more games that should demand your attention than this one.
I dunno, it looks like it might be a good one and this is coming from someone's who's actually played dragon games before. There's something different about LAIR that makes it interesting.
Because the game at one point showed promise of providing gears like graphics with great, innovative gameplay. Now it looks like (to quote a SW poster who's name I forgot) "Galaga in 3D with dragons". Once you hype a game you can't really back out. But still I agree the game doesn't look like anything special, it seems that it has actually made the act of spitting honest to god fireballs boring.
Honestly, because of its graphics being a game that would challege geow on the ps3
however, the darkness looks way ahead of any game now and its coming to the ps3 so there shouldnt be hype for lair (assuming that it looks as good as the 360 version theyve been showing)
looks good imo. great graphics, music, so far the story seems decent, and gameplay seems fun. the flight controlling will be alotmore funbecause of the sixaxis, they supposedly have a decent combo system for close range dragon fighting, varied missions, and the boss fight i've seen is awesome. and u can rip a bulls head off and throw it at enemies
Lair looks very interesting, and is being developed by Factor 5 so it can be hyped. However, I am not so sure about the score it will get. It feels there is something missing from the game.

First of all its a new IP and second of all its something new, so hey I dont know what to think of the game either but since I also own a ps3, I really think this game looks like a game I couldnt pass up on. I am always down for a new genre of gaming and this is one I havent really played but I am willing to try just because of how massive and beautiful the game looks. Should be a good game.
Was I the only one to see the ground combat, and the boss battle? the only problem with this game is the auto machine fireballs, which will most likely be fixed at the end. The game does need some gameplay tweaks but it still has 2 months for it to come out. Factor 5 clearly knows what they are doing because they made a game inj 8 months (rogue squadron 2) and they can change the gameplay a little to make it better. If you think this game is similar to eragon besides taht you are a dragon rider, it isn't. It has better graphics, gameplay, and ai.
I used to be really hyped about this game, but now it seems rather "meh" to me. Hope it proves me wrong come review time. If it turns out good, i'll probably buy it. I'll at least rent it though.

How do you possibly know anything about whether or not this game will be boring? Oh wait, you have no idea. You know nothing about this gameexcept that it's about fighting with a dragon, because you haven't played it and therefore can't form an informed opinion. Instead, you'll make everything up.
