lets be honest here, if MS or Nintendo created 'Home', the whole internet will be going crazy, media will say its the best thing since slice bread, Nintendo have the best innovations, Xbox Live is the greatest. but because its PlayStation, no one is praising it, no one is acknowledging that it is a great feature, instead some are still hating or just being quiet about the whole thing, like it never happened. This posts are just plain silly. You are looking at home in a vacum. There are many other factors out there. Sony is its own worst enemy. I have a PS3 and with VF5 and MS I am finally playing it mrore (alos liked RFOM); however, Sony created some riddiculous hype behind the PS3. The hype was so large there was no way the PS3 could meet these expectations. No 4 months out and no AAA games (according to GS) Sony announces home. I think home is cool and I look forward to it; however, it is only an announcement. It still has to be implemented and work as Sony promised. Sony (in fairness so have the other companies) have let us down before. Finally this is SW, so expect everything to be taken to the extreme. Go figure.
even Gamespot would have made a poll about it, or would have done a 'feature article' about it, but because its PlayStation, they did not. but when Sony announed about Europe PS3 down speccing, the whole internet made such a big deal about it, even Gamespot quickly made a 'gut reaction' article.Kotaku, Joystiq and other sites bashed the PS3 to hell and back.
seriously, why all the hate?

I stopped reading there. With everything new Sony introduce comes too much praise. So many people said the Eyetoy was the greatest innovation ever, but then they said the DS was just a gimmick

You must be living in a different internet to me. There has been huge amounts of praise for this feature. Especially considering there is still so much we do not know about it.

Anyway, I was here in E3 2005. I remember when Sony praised the PS3 to the moon and damned 360 to hell. Back then, you couldn't defend the 360 without being damage control. You see how that turned out. Feature after feature was cut out, especially the famous "entitlements". Sony overpromises before they actually begin testing, etc. Tulak_HordSee this is the point fanboys can't comprehend. Sony is its own worst enemy. The hype machine of Sony has hurt the company very bad. I am sure Sony will get it together (they better or I bought a $600 paperweight) but the beating it is taking now is a problem of Sony's making. It is not a conspiracy guys.

If you have owned the systems you'd know. PSP includedGamertag-TFTWSony systems are only good if you can afford a replacement when they break.

lol Granted I will stick up for sony and say the PS, PS2, and PSP that I owned never totally broke down there was still terrible load times, expensive proprietary crap, revisions, remakes, rehashes, poor design, and lack of games.
Needless to say the 360 (scratching of discs, overheating, freezing, skipping, small controller)Â or Xbox (hard to read discs later in it's life)Â ain't perfect either.
