[QUOTE="SeanBond"][QUOTE="mish55"] that really bothered me before
when i see the ports of the playstation 1 resident evil games (which are almost impossible to find), resident evil remake, 0, and 4 were solely for the wii
whos brilliant idea was that??
seriously, though, so many people love resident evil and it kills me that it had to be exclusive to the gamecube
not hating or anything but the gamecub really didnt deserve those games, it deserved to have them butnotexclusively for it
those games were violent and you know the gamecube....
(even the creator of 4 was crying about it being ported to the ps2, why?? so more people can enjoy that masterpiece?)

The Gamecube was a more powerful console than the PS2, so Capcom could get more juice out of the GC to make the games better looking. Remember Resident Evil for the GC? Everyone was blown away by its graphics. Same goes for RE4, which had to be slightly downgraded graphically (the cutscenes were even pre-rendered) to be ported to the PS2.Getting the RE franchise was one way Nintendo tried to stop ignorant fanboys from believing that Nintendo was for kids, in the hopes of securing a larger fanbase (after having lost out to the PS1). And as a GC owner, I'm glad Nintendo and Capcom did what they did... ;)
hah, silent hill 3 looks so much better than resident evil on gcand it doesnt even have prerendered anything
and besides, whats so great about what they did?
Thats your opinion. I'm a big Resident Evil fan...but I'm a Silent Hill NUT lol. Biggest fan ever (silent hill 2 is my favorite game of all time :)...lol), and saying that, i've also beaten Silent hill 3 at least 10 times...AT LEAST. And imo, there's no way it looks better than RE remake for the cube. It has its own art style, its a lot darker and grittier, and definitely scarier (and imo a better game)...but technically, graphically...REmake for the Cube has so much more going on.
