Can anyone explain this? It really doesn't make sense, that they will put there 2 most hyped, and probably best selling games 2 weeks apart from eachother, it will hurt or tarnish one of the games sales.
I don't think it has the casual appeal that Halo does. It's more of a hardcore gamer title but I agree releasing them in the same month doesn't seem like a smart move.Â
If they do release them together that would derail all the PS3 has going for it in Fall 2007. Grand Theft Auto is expected to help move alot of PS3's but with both games out before it for a gamer looking for a new console it's really an easy choice. Halo 3 + Mass Effect + GTAIV? OMG...No disrespect to Lair and Heavenly Sword but it's a no contest what so ever.

EB games has it listed as September 3rd, but offically it's still "TBA 2007".
i think bioware shot down the rumour about the september release date. plus they recently said they cant commit to one so my guess is its still very much in the air.
