Why is Medal of Honor Warfighter getting next to no attention?

I haven't seen discussion about this game anywhere, it looks good.

The first one was good, better than CoD atleast and yet this game isn't getting hyped.

Eh, I'm interested in it. That said, it's a generic modern war shooter, and people are tired of those sort of games, so it's not going to get that much attention from SW.

Hardly anything is shown for the game...and MOH hasn't been as popular as other bigFPSs though it's still quite popular.

Probably because we haven't seen much of it. I just want to see the multiplayer before I can really decide on buying the game. The MOH reboot was a pretty good first try imho. It really wasn't.

The campaign "felt" ok, but it was beatable in 3 hours which makes it one of the shortest campaigns even in this time where FPS campaigns are getting rediculously shorter and shorter. Pretty sad considering the studio *ONLY* had to do the single player, they had no responsibilities at all for multiplayer, which was handled by DICE. On the surface I was excited that Dice was in charge of multiplayer, but I don't think they could have done much worse than they did with this game. At least it "functioned", but they obviously didn't care very much. Although I suppose if that new studio had to do both single player AND multiplayer with no input from DICE, the result probably would have been a broken game (I'm basing that on fact they could only manage a 3 hour campaign in the 1st place). The last game wasn't broken, it was just thoroughly average in all respects with numerous flas and very short campaign.

I'm really not sure what to think of this new game now that DICE isn't even there for the multiplayer.

It's an EA game, what are you expecting?

1st post here says it all. Johnny Cage fits the description of why it gets no attention. The generic FPS gamer will claim anything that isnt Halo or CoD to be crap.

The game will good, far better than any Kiddies On Duty but anybody plays COD will hate on MOH.

I liked the last Medal of Honor. Single player was good as long as you had auto-aim off and played it on the hardest setting. Multiplayer was terrible which was a shame because the maps were good.

I am looking forward to it. I just fugured if I posted a thread saying "New Medal of Honor looks great!" I would get trolled.

I also agree that MOH was a better than COD in many ways. (Remember having to fend off at least 300 or so guys while taking cover behind the stone houses they were destroying? It was epic. The aristrikes were the best) COD hasn't done anything for me since MW1 being that 2 and 3 were dull in comparison and BLOPS was meh.

The amount of "better than COD" fps are large in number but truly lack the muscle to actually hype the title.

Even GRFS was ignored for the most part. Spec ops as well.

Perhaps MOHWF will get the better treatment when it's released or at least beforehand. Remember that the last MOH came out around the same time MW2 launched.(the line at Gamestop was staggering to say the least. All COD fans)

I wonder if they did not play Red Dead Redemption because Revolver sucked? Or GTA3 because the ones before it sucked? Or Burout 3 because the other ones sucked?

Because it is from EA, which means the SP will be crap and the online will be a laggy pile of hot garbage. Only 360 owners will be satisfied with it.

I just want to see more MP gameplay. I couldn't care less about the single player which is rubbish compared to Call of Duty's. But the reboot's mp had a lot of potential

medal of honor has no point of existing anymore really that's why. I mean its EA sad attempt to still some of CODs thunder but its pointless they should stick to putting more effort in BF and focus on their specialty instead of pumping out a average and generic medal of honor game.

I have it preordered. Really liked MoH 2010, both the campaign and the multiplayer, and it sounds like the mp component is waaaaay more fleshed out than it was before.

Black Ops also had a ton of issues on PC, and while MoH 2010 was a little buggy, it was still way more solid of a PC game. So I have no faith in Blops. And calling down cruise missiles on the enemy = win.
