lol @ comparing the shit show that is MS Studios to SEGA.
I wonder who's alt this is.
One guess.
I'll just call him the King of Alts.
You could play some games like Sonic, Virtua Fighter, Manx TT Super Bike, or what have you, but not everything; not anything close to it actually. Exclusives are a much rarer thing these days, so when your games are all available on the PC aside from basically Halo, it diminishes the value of the console.

One might call the person, a Damage Control expert.
If it is, better hope byshop doesn't catch him

It wasn't some games, it was dozens and I'm sure there's more I'm not aware of.
That is definitely only some, because it doesn't come anywhere close to the exclusive libraries of the Master System, Genesis, SEGA CD, SEGA 32X, Saturn, and Dreamcast. I used to buy SEGA games on the PC whenever I could, but it was nothing like today where I can literally go game by game and get them on the PC with the Xbox One. If I could have done that back then, I would have ditched SEGA hardware too like I have with Xbox.

My advanced language heuristics and forensics have determined that he is some sort of law enforcement. Possibly created from explosives.
@brandshatch: As a life-long SEGA fan I’ll say a lot of their games were still exclusive to their consoles at the time. It’s nothing like MS where their minuscule number of games are already on PC and run better on PC, giving PC owners no reason to own an Xbone.
Dreamcast had VGA for PC monitors, and the hardware was pretty much PC in a box. Especially as DC had built in modem.
Too bad they built the console during an era when graphics chips were evolving at breakneck speed, meaning that PS2 totally killed Dreamcast with its superior graphics power.
Will PS5 do the same to Xbox One X? I doubt it. There's no sign of huge leap in tech in coming years, so PS5 will be about the same as X1X.
Don't insult Sega that way endofaugust. Sega actually cares about gaming and knows what makes a good game. MS is as clueless as it gets.
It's no secret the Xbox division was heavily influenced by Sega.
Didn't that Peter Moore guy basically jump from Sega to Microsoft? The controller was identical to the dreamcast controller. Then they got 50 Sega ports.
Microsoft took Sega's place and it is why they suck. The Xbox brand might as well be considered Sega consoles.
If you look back at the history of Sega and their presence on PC it was pretty heavy, even though they constantly had console hardware on the market a large section of their big first party IP's were always ported to the PC.
I not once ever heard a single gripe about it, no one ever arguing about it, no one trying to belittle their console platforms as a result, just nothing. So what's the deal? Why is this almost identical situation here suddenly a problem for people relating to Microsoft?
I get the fanboy side of it but there are people absolutely being serious in what they say and their convictions and I'm genuinely questioning why.
This isnt identical at all ...

Most of these were ported to PC years after their original releases. And most of these were inferior ports on PC. The best way to experience most of these games were either in the arcades or on consoles. And like Renegade said, that list is quite small compared to the ton of exclusives Sega released on their systems.
It's different with Microsoft. The PC versions release almost simultaneously with the Xbone versions. The PC versions are superior to the Xbone versions. And the Xbone doesn't have anything else besides the shared Xbone & PC games. These factors make the Xbone redundant.
I don't know...I always felt that Sega machines were consoles that felt like consoles, while Xboxs just felt like watered down PCs.
You do realize that SEGA failed in the end right? besides, SEGA didn't shove Online Subscriptions and mandatory online connectivity down our throats.
Two ways in which they are/were both similar:
