People have to realize that these quotes aren't simply coming from forum fanboys. Pretty much every single one of these quotes come from Microsoft's own PR during conferences or in the media:
RRoD and other various hardware issues - "well, it's not that big of a problem" or "at least we have a warranty" or "PS2 used to fail all the time!" Microsoft denied the very existence of RRoD for quite a while, and only after threats of lawsuit enacted the warranty. Despite multiple claims of "the newest version of the system is fixed", the 360 still suffers from a wide variety of common hardware failures.
Xbox LIVE fees - "Live is better Live is better Live is better Live is better!" Microsoft constantly touts how Xbox Live is superior to anything else.
Microsoft supporting HD-DVD - "HD DVD baby! I love these high def movies so much!"
Microsoft dropping HD-DVD - "whatever I play my 360 for games not movies." Microsoft says "360 is for games not movies!"http://www.gamespot.com/news/6186204.html
Exclusive Netflix support - "HD streaming, baby!" Microsoft brags it up about being the first to offer exclusive Netflix support on consoles and talks about the 360 being the centerpiece to your livingroomhttp://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2008/jul08/07-14instantstreampr.mspx
Neflix is available on other consoles - "Whatever I play my 360 for games not movies"

Microsoft shows off potential hardcore applications of Project Natal - "Sweet! See? THIS is how you do motion controls!" Oh goodness. Just read up on what Microsoft said Project Natal could do and then look at what Kinect actually does.
Microsoft launches Kinect - "kinect Joy Ride, woooo!"
losing exclusives and "exclusives" - "enjoy that game one year later!" or "..." When Mass Effect 2 jumped ship MS simply said "bu bu but we're the best!"http://news.cnet.com/8301-13506_3-20013992-17.html

Microsoft sells hard drives and wi-fi antennas separately - "we don't have to pay for extra built-in crap. We have the choice!" Microsoft has always defended separate HDD and separate wi-fi as "offering options for our customers"
Microsoft's new 360 has built-in HDD and wifi, also rendering past add-ons incompatible - "Yeah it's built in now!"
thin lineup of upcoming games - "whatever I still have multiplatform games to play" or "Microsoft only announces its games like three weeks before they come out" Name a major 360 exclusive that was announced less than 6 months before launch.
Microsoft or its studios being caught in blatant lies (fake screenshots, lying about gameplay, etc) - "whatever it's gonna sell like 10 million" Do I even have to go into the long list of Gears bullshots, promised Fable, Alan Wake, and Halo features that were pulled in the final retail game without prior warning?
Microsoft or its studios show off awesome graphics - "Alan Wake, woooo!" or "Gears, wooo!"
Other companies show off awesome graphics - "who cares about graphics? Gameplay is better than graphics!"
It's commonly accepted that you are nothing but a "fanboy" if you don't admit Haze and Lair were flops. It's commonly accepted that you are nothing but a "fanboy" if you think PSN has more features than Xbox Live. However, why do gamers apply such incredibly low standards to Microsoft?
