They could have missed that Lair can do this since that may be a dev choice, but they have to know the console is capable of it. Wouldn't it be great if you could stream your BLU-RAY and DVD movies to the PSP incase you have to like, go to the can during a movie or something. Seems like it should be fully possible. If the PSP is any example though, Sony is great at not letting you fully utilize a devices features to your liking.zeppelin6591
yes you can steam movies from your PS3 to your PSP , I have both and i have done it just to try it and its stupid
if you have to go to the can just put the movie on pause and the screen on the psp is nice but the whole purpose of buying a movie on dvd or blu ray is to enjoy it on the big hdscreen
Sony obviously can't be that stupid since they are one of the leading electronics company in the world

Wow case in point, I had no idea. Their marketing department really needs to wake up. I'm sure the average consumer could go his whole life without ever knowing his PS3 could do this.
I mean seriously. Why would you spend all of your money freaking me out with baby dolls and telling me to get a second job, but go out of your way to hide from me that the PSP can be used to play full PS3 games through remote play! I don't know how functional this feature this is, but I am a Lemming with a PSP and this news actually made me consider buying a PS3. If more games have this feature (to an extent at least) in the future, I might actually cave. And I seriously HATE the PS3, like more than you know.zeppelin6591
Here's a better question. Why are you?
The thread name made me think of Hot Pockets.Ehlohim
Which type of hot pocket is your favorite? I like the NY Strip Steak Hot Pockets, delicious!
You can use the PSP to connect to your PS3 from anywhere in the world as long as the PSP can find a internet hot spot. Most of the PS1 games will play on the PSP along with some PS3 games that will be coming out. You can check anything on your PS3 the same way (it places just about all the features and menu options on the PSP).
They may not be advertizing this feature because it has just started to be released. With firmware updates in the near future it could be able to do a whole lot more than what it does now. We may see most of the features released and maybe hyped after the new slim PSP is released (this is just the start of this feature).
