because the game is for magic the gathering card players, its intended for the hardcore fantasy loving people....to me this game really blows and i played it
in the rpg formula these titles have always been more rp than g, it's never bothered me before.
maybe next gen they can rip off the souls combat engine.
^ you must have never played dark souls. that was a true skill combat where you had to learn the enemy moves to dodge them. All combat could be handled with range or close combat. The fact that fatigue only allowed like 4 hits made you strategist your hits. Maybe because I'm playing it on a pc but clicking a mouse all crazy non stop hoping i hit something isn't exactly fun. thats why i think; Skyrim=two worlds II oblivion>two worldsplaymynutzDrivel
The combat is actually a lot better than Oblivion at least, my biggest complaint of Beth games is generally the combat feeling a bit crap. Initially I thought this was going to be the same with Skyrim, 30 hours in and it isn't at all. The combat is much improved and much more enjoyable. Sword and shield anyway, certainly isn't slash slash slash, that would just get me killed in 90% of situations. I have no idea what it is like being a mage though.

god sometimes the cynacism of this place gets to me. i just wish i could see some of these people making these comments.
Theres no soound effect or screen shake or character doesn't quiver when you hit someone. Every battle seems to be designed to whats on your hand, changing spells and weapons is annoying. No changing of tactics really during the battle.
The combat's not that bad. Could be better, but as it stands it's pretty fun. At least on Master, clicking randomly will get you killed.
