But you can get a cheaper version of the 360, cos some people just want to play games and i know loads who dont even go online cos they don't have broadband, so for those young ones who are struggling to pay the high taxs and high rent, they want the cheapest one and games.

360 core + harddrive + 1yr live subscription = around 40gb ps3

Without live, 360 owners would have lost interest in the 360 a long time ago

Thankfully this is SW. Where opinions don't matter and GS scores do. No matter how off or F'ed up they are these are the unwritten rules so you have to deal with them. Go over to Gamerankings and the 360 still has higher scored games and more exclusives.

Statistically the 360 games are better and yes most of the multiplatform versions are better as well. If you don't like it then I'm not one to stop you but the games are better. I don't like Metal Gear Solid or GTA but I know that they are good games regardless of my not really liking them too much.

The 360 games are better. Look at the scores across the board.

you cant argue that there are better games on the 360 then the ps3 because if you look at the library the 360 has much more better games, ps3 still doesnt have a AAA game and thats a fact.

the hardware is also in question because both consoles have there ups and downs, there is no one anwser to this

and live is 50 dollars a year and you get a much better service then psn, if you think 50 dollars a year is tomuch then you shouldent even be a gamer

BR is NOT better for playing games though, just for watching movies. I'd rather pay the 60 for XBL than get PSN free which is down right bad. Either way you cut it, it's still opinion when it comes to what YOU THINK is better.

Yes A game spot reviewer does score some 360 games higher then some ps3 games. So base your whole choice of console on that guys reviews and not how fun the games are. you're right We all should stop posting and only buy games based on gamespots reviews! BR is better for games. Don't have to compress data cause it has a lot of storage. Come on everyone knows that. You can fit more content on it then a dvd which makes it superior. Also PSN is running fine right now lol i would know cause i am on it. And when playing any game online on the 360 or ps3 when you are actually playing the game it's the same. you go around shoot people and talk to friends.

Actually the Wii is good. you can play all the old school games on it which is awesome and they have a lot of fun games. Mario galaxy is sweet.
