I guess because it's more casual than the other consoles so it appeals to more people. It's a good console though so I think it deserves all of it's popularity.

It's a cheap piece of hardware that Parents can afford for their children so they don't feel poor in this economy compared to others kids parents......

Wii is dominating in Gamespot review scores in 2009 and just got an AAA yesterday, but today we question it's popularity because ofa low scoring title. Nice.

Because it's Nintendo. Its fun, and its got a little something for everyone.

...because Ellen gives one to every menber of the audience almost every day on her show.

It's like how some people buy the PS3 to use it as a Bluray player, a lot of people pick up Wii + WiiFit to substitute it with exercising. In fact, I know a couple family and friends that got the Wii for exactly that purpose.

Liking the PS3 is not required to be a cow. There once was great system called the PS2. It didn't look like a grill, which most cows happen to be quite fearful of.

Beacause unlike the 360/PS3 fanboys, others like to have more than an endless supply of shooters.

Well, it's got a better library than the PSP, and that thing has also sold over 50 million units. Granted in a longer time, but still.

I'm actually happy Nintendo is in first place. I don't own a Wii, but it sure beats having the Playstation in 1st that's for sure.

consoles, so ya, pretty much wii360 is the way to go , if wii just isnt enough lol

and if you think a 360 wii isnt enough then go for the pot ,

at least wii multiplayer functions will be usful from now on ,

Thats good enough for me, you actually gave it a chance and it didnt work out for you. As long as you didnt play Wii Sports or RedSteel for 10 minutes, claim it was garbage and never touched your Wii again :P
