Why is there NO advertising for PC gaming?!?!?

.

1. PC gaming isn't run by one company.
2. Advertising is up to smaller individual companies.
3. Many won't advertise due to cost.
4. Those that do are larger companies, such as; Activision, EA, Blizzard, etc.
5. PC gaming seems to do pretty damn well with internet advertising, due to the nature of the system.

Thread creators should have enough intelligence to make threads. More decent threads would give SW some health benefits... and you are the guy who made terrible threads recently. So, please stop.

Because PC games don't need to sell millions in order to cover the costs of AAA development (and a lot of that is due to advertising)

Because we don't need it. Good games sell themselves through word of mouth and not a ridiculous marketing budget.
