Why is Uncharted 2 being hyped to the ends of the earth??

Yea, the gameplay footage was impressive, but it doesn't look that much better than the first, and sure the graphics are stunning but the actually gunplay looks pretty average.

So what's the deal?

Why not hype it? It looks quite fantastic and the prospect of the multiplayer is particularly tantalizing.

i actually don't think the game is hyped enough to match how great a game it is.

its like mgs4 + lots of special aspects that make it even more fun.

This game should be hyped. It might not win GOTY, but it will definately end up as a nominee. Great single player, great multiplayer, great graphics. what more do u want?

Because its a new game. And I'm guess people who only own a PS3 want a new game.

I think it deserves all the hype it gets, i loved the first game, replayed it way more then i should have. It looks like its going to be a great sequal, but i dont understand where all these fans are comming from, there were never this many uncharted fans and now its everyone favorite game. Its great there are more people excited, the game deserves it, but everyone is a uncharted fan all of a sudden.

uncharted 2 will 99.999999% be a AAA game. the graphics look super nice, the gameplay looks awesome, and it now has multiplayer. sure, i most likely wont win GOTY, but it just might be a nominee.

because the first one was badass and the dev. has an amazing record (crash, jak, uncharted).

Mine was right. He was saying that the score can go up and i said that it can also go down. You're the one who took it personally. Didn't think someone could get so defensive over something that should be common sense. Take your own advice.
