I really liked Counterstrike on the Xbox, so it just struck me...why isn't this on the 360? Didn't it make loads of money back in the hey day?

no point, That game can run like, on an ipod.. so lol anyone who has a computer can play it. It wouldnt work on 360 anyhow
Really? I loved Counter Strike on the Xbox. It was the sole reason I got XBL back in 2003.Counter-Strike on the xbox was terrible compared to the PC version of 1.6. Counter-Strike doesnt belong on consoles.

The thing that makes Counterstrike what it is are the mods, things like Gungame, deathmatch, surf, and zombies. None of that can be on 360, so it's not going to happen.

There's a few reasons as to why it probably won't be on the 360:
1. As people said, you can max Counter Strike: Source on a Radeon 3650, which costs somewhere around 50 bucks.
2. CS is popular on PC because a lot of people don't have the hardware to play the latests and greatest games like Crysis or COD4 or things like that at good resolutions. Heck, you can run CS 1.6 on like a Pentium 3. On the 360, it would have to compete against COD4, Gears of War, and lets not forget, HALO 3.
However, I think that if Microsoft (and not just them, Sony could too) were to release CS: Source as a downloadable title for about $10, it would have quite a bit of popularity.

Man if you liked counter-strike on the xbox, you would be head over heals in love with it on the PC. That game is the number 1 reason why I don't really get into console fps any more. Sooooo good.Counter-Strike on the xbox was terrible compared to the PC version of 1.6. Counter-Strike doesnt belong on consoles.

Counterstrike is not a console game. It's a super fast twitch shooter with some great teamwork required.pyromaniac223And the 12 year old kids of XBL would not fare well
PS3 Users disrespected Gabe and now 360 are finding something to disrespect gabe. If Counter-Strike port is worse then........... 360 users will blame gabe.I really liked Counterstrike on the Xbox, so it just struck me...why isn't this on the 360? Didn't it make loads of money back in the hey day?
