Oh my god, you should've just said something like "Why Killzone is impressive" but now, instead of actually giving the game some credit, now it'll just get bashed.
Can't be done on the 360. Why are people so quick to claim games can't be done on other platforms....

I totally agree, if he'd have titled thisthread differently he might have got some people appretiating how good it looks, but all this'll turn into is a bashing thread...
Of course it can be done on the 360. Developers have consistently said they there is less of a gap this generation between the 360 and ps3 than there was between the Xbox and ps2! Heck, somehave said that the 360 is betterand so fourth.
The evidence is in the games. There is really not much difference between the 2 platforms. It makes me laugh how people will analyse minute graphical differences and say that (insert console name) pwns the other. In my opinion, the graphics of a gameis slowly evolving away from technicalrestrictions to who has the best art teams and who puts more development time in.
Gears of War looks the way it does because epic sat down with the unreal engine and designed some kick ass characters and environments. They took time to really create impressive characters with detailed armor and well designed faces. Halo3 and Killzone 2 have completely different looks but are not technically that different. If you add up the bump maps, high res textures, bloom effects, antiailiasing, frame rate and resolution then consider the similar available memory, similar OVERALL processing power etc that you cannot really say that one cannot be done on the other.
Suppose it all come down to your own taste in games ultimately.

it can't be done on 360 because it can't render only in 1 color (gray)
You shouldn't make claims like that but the counter arguments are just as lame. We've gotten to the point at about 2004 when prettymuch any idea can be represented in 3D. You could have a game titled Killzone on the Wii with some damn stripped down graphics and similar play, but it wouldn't be the same. Killzone2 could not be done in its exact same form on the 360. There are distinct advantages of PS3 hardware that it utilizes that would prevent that. But yes, you could have a very similar game, better in some aspects even, made for the 360.

It could be done. Besides, Warioware can't be done on either 360 or PS3.
