Namco / Bandai just made an agreement with Sony to use CELL technology for Tekken 6 arcade? That`s mean Tekken 6 will be absolutely will base on CELL technology for console. And we know Tekken 6 will be PS3 only. Why you lemmings believe old rumors?

I dont care if it comes to the 360

Tekken is boring, all fighting games are. They are so repetative, and every game is the same, just with more fighters and better graphics.

I think it'll be on the 360 - I'm not a lemming.

Why do I think that? Just like DMC the franchise it's declining in sales, and being "exclusive" doesn't seem to be helping it anymore, so I wouldn't be shocked if it went multiplat, I'd be surprised if it stayed exclusive.

haha so true about the sheep... 5 years is too short for the future tech-challenged console designers in nintedo HQ. they're still living in the days of NES. i say 20 years and they still wont accept HD even if everyone has a HDTV by then.

Who would want Tekken 6 on xbox360 anyways, we already have Dead or Alive 4, soon 5 and Virtua Fighter 4 (considered best fighting game even by the cows themselves.). I don't care for Tekken 6 on the xbox360, don't know why anyone else would.

Understand the significants of the engine being built on the PS3 cell. Xbox360 can not do what cell can do. They would have to make another engine for it to port it to 360 or use an old engine.

I loved TEKKEN 3 but I got burn out on it and never played any of the follow ups. I hope T6 comes to 360 but I think there is a bit of logic behind the TC's point. Its always been on PS hardware that is used in the arcade so for all we know Sony might have some kind of financial control over the IP.

For the first time every, I will agree to something like that. When I was younger it was all about Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat. The concept of a fighting game was fresh in peoples heads. But sadly I really can't tell the different between Tekken, SC, and VF. I know that's sad. I haven't actually sat down a play a fighting game since Tekken 3[well it feels like it]. I honestly think fighting games died along with Arcades. BUT! Super Smash Bros. is really interesting compared to everything else I've seen. Pleas don't slap me for saying this but when I do look at the new Tekken for the PS3 I always ask myself is there a new way to play it? If so, someone tell me please. Thank you.

hell, theirs not that big of a jump between tekken 5 arcade and tekken 6.. and tekken 5 is a psp port.

they bring new moves, new strategys and new characters to improve on that strategy and a great addition to the double team moves arsenal if the game has it.

tekken 4 doesn't have all the throws and moves tekken 5 implemented.. street fighter 3 with ryu and ken they have different moves you excecuted like forward and kick for a heal drop etc.. you miss on a whole lot if last fighting game you played was tekken 3.

The thing is concept of any game doesn't change. It is why they are put in genres. When it comes to fighters you expect a drastic concept change? Just say you not interested in fighter is a more of a complete argument. Don't say it's repetitive and then go off and play FPS #938372302. That's called a contradiction. In truth, fighters has drastically change in gameplay way more then shooters. Shooters are the most simplistic genre in gaming. The learning curve to be very good at a fighter is a lifetime.

Thanks. But while reading I think I've found out why I don't play fighters. I like the idea that new strategies and fighting moves are added to increase the action in the game. But what I believe is missing is the ability to "heavily" interact with a larger environment. Perhaps being able to move through one area to another and back again. Or using things in that area to create advantages. But I think hardcore fighting gamers are more into the one on one bout for a more personal experience. What would be awesome is the ability to create your own style of fighting.

I dont think so. It'sgoing to arcades first and it's being released in 2008. the PS3 would have sold enough to carry its own by that time, esp. if there is a price drop.

Hehe. Well, that's not quite what I was getting at. But maybe being able to create new moves with existing ones through real-time with a preset of actions already available to a existing character design. Not sure how it would work but.. :P

with the right set of moves and your skill it's call your own style of fighting. my fighting style is to predict my oponnents movement.

i got some friends that play the waiting style lol, the crap talker style, some play the offence, some play the defensive.. i don't know what to call them but everyone in a fighting game has it's own fighting style or fighting strategy.

you want to go from area to area? then play tekken, they have a mode for that, DOA4 theirs a lot of interaction with the environment.. and of course that what makes fighting game so special the one on one fights, for bragging rights.

I dont care if it comes to the 360

Tekken is boring, all fighting games are. They are so repetative, and every game is the same, just with more fighters and better graphics.

NeoGen85

I can only pray you not into shooters...

at least some shooters add new gameplay elements. Fighters are just all the same

Thank you.

they bring new moves, new strategys and new characters to improve on that strategy and a great addition to the double team moves arsenal if the game has it.

tekken 4 doesn't have all the throws and moves tekken 5 implemented.. street fighter 3 with ryu and ken they have different moves you excecuted like forward and kick for a heal drop etc.. you miss on a whole lot if last fighting game you played was tekken 3.

you don't know what your talking about.

Hehe. Well, that's not quite what I was getting at. But maybe being able to create new moves with existing ones through real-time with a preset of actions already available to a existing character design. Not sure how it would work but.. :P

that's actually called a combo dude.

VF5 said to be an Exclusive PS3 game too. Oh and Ace Combat 6 is on the 360 so I don't see why Tekken 6 might not be either.

Namco / Bandai just made an agreement with Sony to use CELL technology for Tekken 6 arcade? That`s mean Tekken 6 will be absolutely will base on CELL technology for console. And we know Tekken 6 will be PS3 only. Why you lemmings believe old rumors?

the first game that came from that team work is Gundam:Musuo

[QUOTE="Yellow_Rose"]It's coming. Trust me ;)shungokustasu

I dont think so. It'sgoing to arcades first and it's being released in 2008. the PS3 would have sold enough to carry its own by that time, esp. if there is a price drop.

The PS3 would've sold more by then, but so would've the 360 ;)

I really don't care if it goes multi-plat, but the evidence says it cant. Also, I love your sig. Shows how much you care for the PS3.

you have to admit though this one is funny. i been laughing the whole time.

f that i'm stealing your sig.

Well, if that's the case, then it's probably a lot less likely that it will get ported. Not impossible, but it might not be worth the trouble to move a game made ground-up for the Cell to the 360.

I don't care too much either way. I don't really like the Tekken series. I got Tekken 5, and it felt very clunky to me. Like your character was basically stuck in mud unless they were doing a 10-hit combo.

Like. Look at MMORPGs. People want real-time action with a stat/level-based system but at the sametime they want it based off of skill. If someone can do that you could consider that drastic. Maybe I am taking the new additional functions in fighters too lightly, when they are truely considered drastic change. But, well..I don't know. I haven't played enough fighters recently to determine that.

with the right set of moves and your skill it's call your own style of fighting. my fighting style is to predict my oponnents movement.

i got some friends that play the waiting style lol, the crap talker style, some play the offence, some play the defensive.. i don't know what to call them but everyone in a fighting game has it's own fighting style or fighting strategy.

you want to interact with the environment? then play tekken, they have a mode for that, DOA4 theirs a lot of interaction with the environment.. and of course that what makes fighting game so special the one on one fights, for bragging rights.

beldugo

Offensive style = Beast
Defensive = Turtle
Balance = Tiger
Trash Talker = Headmaster ( I like to call the noobs)
Under pressure = Possum

The thing is concept of any game doesn't change. It is why they are put in genres. When it comes to fighters you expect a drastic concept change? Just say you not interested in fighter is a more of a complete argument. Don't say it's repetitive and then go off and play FPS #938372302. That's called a contradiction. In truth, fighters has drastically change in gameplay way more then shooters. Shooters are the most simplistic genre in gaming. The learning curve to be very good at a fighter is a lifetime.

Learning curve in fighters? LMAO, the learning 'curve' in any Tekken game is learn 2 or 3 moves and do them over and over again.

When will cows realize that when people don't care about teh almighty Tekken, it's because it's been the same game recycled and rehashed per each iteration... Now VF has evolved...

I wouldn't mind getting Tekken on the 360....but I don't see how I'll work my way around the 360 controller....

all in all....yes, fighters are probably the most boring games I've ever played....but then again...the minute I'm with someone or a large amount of people and it's a one on one fight togather it can be the most intense, fun and fast gaming experience you can have..( with the right kind of fighting game of course) but the minute everyone is gone....it just goes back to being plain ol' boring.....that's the problem with gaming these days....with the introduction of online gaming...it's really rare to see people actually come togather and play togather...I miss those days of Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 or MK2... tekken 3 was great too. Good good times.

Females with sharp tounges...I'm not getting in a discussing with Tekken growth in gameplay. You can't deny that 360 fans are begging for this game to come.

i put like 250days on ffxi and i forgot how many times i casted Cure 1 or Sneak Attack on my thief..

in street fighter 3 i never done the combo shungokustasu has on his sig with akuma. if your looking for a fighter with stats/lv and all of that get DBZ Tenkaichi or Soul Calibur 3.

i gave you all kind of example of what you ask for in a fighter so no excuses for you not to try them out ;) now. never too late to get your skills up.

In my honest opinion. Every fighter story should be like Ryu. There should be no motive in fighting than the glory of victory. I see fighting as a sport. There are no stories in football, basketball or baseball. They do it because they love it.

yea but  what is there to look forward to when your playing alone.. plus, i would love to find out more about the character i'm using, his background, how strong, how he gain his powers, who is his teacher.. etc...

in sports game their story is already there.. their stats.. remember sports like boxing have interviews, background stories, wins, losses.. that's their story.

if myke tyson appears in a game and his stats say example 60 wins 3 losses.. we know the story behind 3 losses. 2 with hollyfield and 1 with lewis.
