Your argument...doesnt make sense.
360 was out for like double the time of ps3 and the multiplats are better on 360 more often then not because devs are lazy and decide they are going to port it instead of working on it...Dont you know anything? :?

no, it still doesnt make sense. You should read what I typed below for a reason why. put 2 and 2 together...360 is a better for system for now because of live and a few features it has; it also had lots of time to have its hardware figured out. Not because it has more games out than ps3...

i think its pretty obvious, no
Let's take a closer look at the top 10 for X360:
1) Orange Box - Better on PC (does not require high end system) and available on PS3
2) Bioshock - Better on PC (does not require high end system)
3) Call of Duty 4- Just as good on PC or PS3, maybe better depending on what you read
4) Oblivion - Better on PC, Better on PS3
5) Gears of War - Better on PC, better graphics and longer single player game
6) Halo 3- X360 exclusive currently eventually coming to PC
7) RockBand - Equal on PS3
8 ) Guitar Hero II - People play GHIII now
9) Mass Effect - Available soon on PC and going to be much much better
10) GRAW - People play GRAW2 now
This summarizes the X360 library, either it's available on another system, or it's a 2006 title that nobody plays anymore.

who cares about being 'fair'PS2 is better than xbox 360 because it has more games, and better ones

Those games don't require a high-end gaming system. I built my system 2 years ago for $800 and it still plays all those games very well. I have a dual core Athlon 3800+, 256mb Radeon, and 2gb of ram. We aren't talking Crysis or Supreme Commander here :)

I think your wrong and even if you aren't they are making very very little. Not enough that MS will continue support for X360 when it's really not how there business operates. There business is built on pushing people to upgrade, it's silly to even think X360 would be any different.

...You are really making a fool of yourself :\
You are saying it has better games and Im just saying WHY it does. This argument is just as pointless and obvious as the ones back in the days of ps2 were. Im just saying, why make a thread on the obvious? Everyone knows it has better games but there is a reason...sheesh, if you would stop being a lapdog of ms and just notice the obvious, then you wouldnt have to waste your time making this thread.
I just thought I'd say it again. Everyone knows it has MORE better games but there is a reason for it just like the ps2 days.
They have better games because the devs for the 360 successively and luckily (for the lack of better terms) developed a game that the mass population would find enjoyable. Easy answer, the devs were able to create games that people like more.
[QUOTE="EmperorSupreme"]No the only thing silly here is me debating with you. You know absolutely nothing and you're making baseless assumptions. Ms themselves said the 360 would last much longer than four years and will not be cut off like the xbox was. But whatever man. Keep believeing what ever you want to believe. You already made your stance. Doesn't matter if I even spoon fed you the truth. I just laugh at you fanboys who miss out. What if I, like most people, don't have a PC that can play those games?
As usual, the anti-360 argument boils down to idea that everyone in the world has a PC able to play games like Gears and Bioshock at the same level the 360 does. Please try to understand, that's not even close to true. Millions of people have perfectly functioning PCs that can't even come close to running Bioshock at medium to high settings, so for them, the 360 holds the superior version of each game.
Also, let's keep in mind the fact that Gears came to the PC a full 6 months after its 360 counterpart, so yes, a couple extra chapters would be expected; I waited for Oblivion GotY Edition for the 360, and was rewarded by essentially getting the extra content for free. Patience will be rewarded. However, I bought Mass Effect when it came out. Why? Because I didn't want to wait 6 months for the game (especially considering the few improvements that will be coming with the PC version). I bought Halo 3 for the 360, because God knows when that game will come to the PC (and God only knows how good the port will be).
But this whole argument is moot, because there are still plenty of games which neither the PC nor PS3 have, which are on the 360 (Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising, Crackdown, Forza, etc.). Are there arguments for gaming on a PC over a 360? Sure. Are their arguments for the PS3? Of course. But the idea that the 360 is essentially the place where PC games go to be "downgraded" is not only wishful thinking, but also a symptom of hermits thinking all of gaming revolves around their PCs (or cows needing a second system to dump on the 360 with).

you're not allowed to qoute stuff like that either so you should probably edit your post.
No one in this thread did anything but make claims - I read through it but saw not one iota of evidence.
Some people like the PS3 - others prefer the 360 and that is how it will probably be for a long while to come.
But you really should not expect to change each others minds OR pretend you have proven anything unless any of you can find some
real evidence to back your claims .... other than "everybody knows" or "it is obvious"

Its a truth hurts kinda deal. For me I dont care about Halo, Bioshock, Mass effect, etc. In fact, the only games I like on that 10 are Orange Box (for Portal) and COD4. I couldnt care less about the others. I also shows the type of game that is popular on the 360...shooters and mostly Scifi variety at that. For those like myself who dont like scifi shooters, the 360 has very little to offer vs other gaming platforms. Besides that, whats up with RROD? But the idea that the 360 is essentially the place where PC games go to be "downgraded" is not only wishful thinking, but also a symptom of hermits thinking all of gaming revolves around their PCs (or cows needing a second system to dump on the 360 with).
So true, I bought a 360 so I wouldn't have to upgrade my PC.
It's not a slow or cheap PC at all either, it has an AMD X2 3800, 2gb RAM, 1000GB HD, SoundBlaster Platium Sound Card, 24" LCD with duel monitors but only a 6600GT graphics card. It's only 2 years old. Same age as my 360 but it can't play new games but my 360 can. I can't justify upgrading my PC when I have a 360 which plays everything properly out of the box. The only game which I could ever consider upgrading it for would be Starcraft 2.
the only 360 game i wish was on ps3 is bioshock, the other exclusives dont matter to me.jcwkings
Exactly. People use these review scores like a good score means a game is a system seller.
Herte's a clue. There are good titles a gamer could miss without having all of the consoles. I sure wouldn't go buy a 360 because of PDZ or Graw. Nor would most other people at this point. Most still deciding on what to buy look at the current titles. Not 360 launch titles from two years ago that have either become dated or have had a sequal that was better.
What criteria did you use for gamerankings (number of reviews) ? Those numbers appear to include arcade games for the 360 and none for the PSN as well (which apparently don't get reviewed much at all). That would skew the numbers.
As for your point , we have an entire generation to go yet and the ps3 is just getting started ...... final tallies could look a whole lot different , but I am sure nobody will care then ;)
