It just didn't set any benchmarks like it's predecessor did. NG1 is and probably will be the best action game for some time. NG2 is a great game, but nothing more. I think that's why most people don't talk about it much anymore.

edit: I should also mention that it is wildly inconsistant.

1. It's not as good as the first (camera absolutely horrible at times, story is complete garbage)

1a. Kinda disappointing from a graphical standpoint.

2. It has little to no chance of coming to PS3 so cows don't automatically like it and will tell you the GoW & DMC are better.

I also got Black off the marketplace and the camera on NG2 is nowhere near as good as it is on Black.

The backgrounds are improved and the character models are slightly, but I said it was a dissapointment to me, meaning I thought it would've looked better.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is a big failure. If it was a multiplat, it would've done much much better. I would say that not long, they will port it over to the PS3.

I wasn't calling you a cow, I was just saying most cows in general. My bad.

I still play NG2. I've put over 50 hours into it. I put about the same in DMC4. NG2 just was rushed. Plain and simple. The game could of blew us all away if Team Ninja had more time. The game's combat is really unmatched as far as I'm concerned. I also feel like the weapons are the best of any action game. The amount of quality in the weapons even overshadow playin' with the Blades of Chaos in the God of War series.

Ninja Cinema needs more polish. If the game wasn't rushed it would have been the best action game by far.

what was wrong with the camera thats all I hear people saying I found just a good as the camera in the first just control it yourself worked fine for me

cuz devil may cry 4 is better.

I would have to agree, I just had more fun with dmc4. I at least wanted to see what happened in the story, I couldnt have cared less about ng2's story right off the bat.

some guys told be I would have terrible camera problems in chapter 10, I never had any. If camera is bothering you do a flying swallow with A+X and then hit RT to center camera, that always worked for me.

Even on the bosses it sucks, which is amazingly sad because all they had to do was keep it cenetered on the boss and it would have been fine, like they did in NGB. But no, the camera prefers to instead wander aimlessly around, even when you target the boss. It's the worst on the huge bone demon thing because it keeps getting stuck in the wall, and you just have to constantly push the L trigger the whole fight. If you decide to take the camera off the boss, then you just die quicker, because frequently you cant even see him at all, much less have a terrible view.

So yes, the camera sucks, and it is one of the main reasons I gave this a 7.5 instead of a 9, which I so desperately wanted to do, but... damn.
