i refuse to pay for live

there goes half the value of the entire library

standard voice chat & integration is cool but i'd rather a no commitment service

Everyone on my friends list has a mic on PSN as do I. Whats your point?. Not everybody uses a mic on the 360 you know.

Plenty of people have mics, they're included in warhawk and socom, games where strategy matters. CoD4 has plenty of people with mics already, what other game did need to use mic strategy for? Did you really want to talk to a random stranger over a game of rock band?

thats because they choose not to use it either because their really young and dont wanna get made fun of, or dont feel like it, and yeah you+your friends= the psn community

How is that any different to some PSN users then? People can have mics on PSN (if bought for that person) and choose not to use them also. It works exactly the same both ways. Also some days people just dont want to talk.

Yes and 360 users get to stay with that crappy headset while PS3 owners can get the official PS3 headset(best gaming mic ever?) and a wide variety of USB and bluetooth headsets so PS3 wins.

Good now I can play games online with my neighbors PS3 and not feel like its a game at a basketball court where everyone has duct tape covering their mouths as to prevent them from speaking.
