[QUOTE="jwcyclone15"] You can build a new rig for under $1000, that has 2gb of Micron D9, A good overclocking motherboard, E4300, and a 8800gts 640mb..
That system owns 360 or the PS3.
And after 4 years of use, is actually cheaper.
Xbox 360 ($400) + Xbox Live ($50 * 4 (years) + 30 games ($50-60)= $2400
Highend Gaming Rig ($1000) + 30 games ($40)=$2200
Try selling these two after 4 years...the PC will fetch alot more money..then you use that money to build a new Rig :)

$1,000 gaming PC!?!?! no upgrades for 4 years!?!?! pls be realistic and can you make a link where you buy your PC.
Sure.
E4300-$110 (Overclocks past a X6800)
GIGABYTE GA-965P-DQ6-$105 (One of the best overclocking mobo, supports FSB 1333)
G.Skill 2gb DDR2 800 (D9 Micron, best overclocking memory)-$200
250gb Hardrive-$55
EVGA 8800gts 640mb-$330 after MIR (Originally $350)
Hiper R 580w PSU 40amps on both rails (a 8800gtx only needs 30amps)-$70
Any case of your Choice, with Fans-$70
Mouse/Keyboard $40
Windows XP-$0 (Use your current install)
All are prices on Newegg, except the CPU which is going to be that much or cheaper after Intel has it price drop in Early April
All parts are well made and aren't skimp on...1 bit
That equals $1000 :) After MIR
Also, I could skimp alittle on some parts, and not all people need a new case, M/K, HDD, and other things.
One more thing Sorry...that PC can do over a Trillion more things than your 360, like go on the internet for free...and go on this website
Also, that PC WILL ALWAYS have better Graphics than your 360...you never have to upgrade to have better graphics than the 360.
Most games for the 360 are $60, atleast the few good ones.
I didn't spin anything, when I had my Xbox..I had more than 40 games...hmmm Gamertage: Obese101
