[QUOTE="NielsNL"][QUOTE="delta3074"]i'm not missing out on anything except 1 good exclusive (killzone 2) possibly 2 if UC 2 is as good as i think it will be, and inferior multiplats, and being a multiplat man, i own the console that's best for me, wether all gamers should own a playstation is a subjective opinion, i didn't own a playstation last gen and i did just fine, and before playstations even existed i did fine, people should stop carrying on as if SONY invented gameing on consoles, they didn't, it was nintendo and sega who invented mainstream console gaming with the NES and mastersystem.delta3074
Kudo's for being so wrong in just one post; that's an achievement in itself.
1- You can't trivialize other people's opinions by saying something is a 'subjective opinion' (which is a pleonasm: all opinions are subjective. according to Nietsche everything is, but that's a different discussion) in a post that's full of passing of your own opinion as fact.
2- It wasn't Nintendo who invented mainstream gaming. I played Atari, Commodore 64 and Amiga before Nintendo even existed as did many of my friends.
excuse me, how is me saying i did fine not fact, i did do fine and i should know, i would like to know which opinion you think i was passing off as fact, multiplats are inferior on the ps3, not by much, but it's still a FACT, i did fine without a playstation ,FACT SONY didn't invent mainstream console gaming, FACT, iowned a zx spectrum,FACT ialso owned a cmmodore 64, FACT i am fine without a playstation,FACT, get over yourself.1 good exclusive on the PS3? Right. And with the inferior multiplatsyou're pushing it, or at least you're generalising. The only major title to which this applies for the last year would be Fallout 3. Aside from that multiplats are pretty much all equal. Sony having stronger first and second party support implies them getting more and better exclusives in the long run. MS can't keep paying for 3rd party support (they can but their shareholders won't let them) to keep up in terms of exclusives. So if you consider yourself a 'multiplat man'which you do then why don't you own multiple platforms so you can play all the good gams both platforms have to offer.
