Why so much hype for KZ2? The first game got a 6.9 here on Gamespot...

Resistance was pretty tight, God of War 1 and 2 hellz yeah, but what does Killzone 2 really have going for it?I liked the animations, though somewhat sluggish, in KZ1 but the gameplay was repetive and boring IMO. Please elaborate on any opinions you might have of this sequel.

I agree the game was above average, especially for a PS2 fps. I just hope the reload animations are a little quicker, seeing as how the action will be faster paced this time.

Gamespot score isnt everything. One of my favourite PS2 games got 5.4 here on gamespot.division_9

One of my favourite games suck's and i admit.but i still like it because of some things that have nothing to do with gameplay or game quality

Coz graphics and positive previews = AAA,even though the graphics aren't especial anymore and the original KZ got lot of positive previews and it ended up floping.MojondeVACA

You should of said Lair, as reviews point to Uncharted being a good game but not AAA material.

Well it got a 88 on metacritic and 89.8 on gamerankings. Which puts it at almost AAA material in real world terms. Even if it was 90+, people will be bickering because this gamespot.

never mind the dev changes, more money, sony studio's, better hardware. learning from mistakes....Ok.

had no idea, DMC 3/4 were flops, because the 2nd one scored bad, and GTA 4 is a flop, because the first few sucked.

Well KZ2 is going to be alot different from its previous parts.Because in simple words,they have actually worked alot on this game and hopefully (saying this from the previews,gameplay footages,media info and alot other info) will score good.

I'm pretty sure the users(cows) of system wars hyped Killzone to be the Halo Killer. I admit, I wasn't here when it happened. When I was a newbie, I heard it talked about alot. I doubt they were making it up.

many ppl who played it will agree with me that the original killzone was a decent game. it had its flaws but was decent none the less
