Why So Much Talk About the Next Set Of Consoles?

I've noticed an increase in topics about the PS4, XBOX 720, and WII 2. The Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo arent talking about it; the devs arent talking about it.

Its almost like people want this generation to end.

The 360 is coming up on 3 years old , and the Wii has weaksauce hardware ..... so people are starting to wonder what comes next in a few years.
