Why the 360 overshadows the Ps3

it was opposite for me i got my 360 at launch and was bored out of my mind no good games till about a year or so after it was out.

I got my ps3 in october of last year and have not stopped playing it. thanks to warhawk, resistance, Ratchet and Clank, MGS4, all the ps2 games. The ps3 has more variety if you have a 60gb or 20gb or an 80gb so i enjoy my ps3 more so then my 360.

When I first got my PS3 I was a very happy person. 2 years later...still waiting for more decent games to come out for it. 360 drops bomb ass games almost every two months, sony....not so often. So i had to get a 360. Personally, i think the 360 has the best overall games. Better variety. Although I do enojoy the bluray and MGS4. lol, i think after the ps2 sony got cocky. but then again, we are talking about microsoft, a $50 billion dollar a year company. And theres sony, who looses $100 every system sold. but, what do you guys think? rahmie0789

Exclusives are kinda some of the most important games: gears, halo, mass effect, forza, too human, lost odd., and fable. would've been bioshock. but I guess it really depends on what games you play...

This pretty much. You can't go wrong with PS3 or 360, such supreme libraries and i rpefer the 360's exclusives(Gears) over PS3's but i will get a PS3 when Gow3 comes out for sure.

I've always preferred my 360 but I'm still partial to my PS3. DaysAirlines

The PS3 is getting LBP/Resistance 2 and Motorstorm.

The rest is great multiplats such as Midnight Club, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, etc with a little bit of exclusives thrown around here and there.

It all depends on which system I buy all the multiplats. Currently it's the 360 because all my friends have one. That's the only reason why my 360 gets more playtime.

lol, but nintendo is making alot of money. I think 2 or 3x more than last gen. So, most likely the next nindendo will (hopefully) be a "powerhouse".

Unlike you I'm fine with my PS3 and I'm play just one PS1 game on it and I still injoy it more than you ever will obviously. Until I'm ready to buy Disgaea: Hour of Darkness 3, thats all I'll be playing on my PS3. As for you saying 2 years later waiting for more games, just play the games you have until some come out you like or sell it and don't complain on Gamespot more than you have.

I'm playing a PS1 game on my PS3 until I'm ready to buy Disgaea: Hour of Darkness 3 and you don't see me complaining because I don't get bored with my games like you do. I'll play any game on my PS3, thats right PS1, I don't care. I don't even care, since I missed out on the PS2 last gen because I got a broken one, long story etc.

I dont care. The money Nintendo makes is not feeding me anything. They were already a powerhouse. They always sell their hardware for a profit, even the Cube raked in alot of dough for Nintendo. Look at the DS as well.

Nintendo is not cheap as many think and they do have the funds to deliver a HD console with a traditional controller.

I don't get why people give Sony such a hard time. Yea it had a rocky first year but now it's even outselling the 360 this year and there are many great games out and coming. SolidGame_basic

not really giving it a hard time. Its NOT out selling anything. Even in Japan the market gap is very close.

allright, i might have exaggerated a little bit on the "drop bomp azz games every other month". But you get the just of what im saying. I probably play 70% of the games on PS3 and 360. I try to catch all the good titles, weather im interested or not, If it gets a good rating and i havent head about it, ill most likely play it. nice azz sig by the way.
