I've played Forza 2 and GT 5 Prologue(The Japanese download, I'll be damned if I'm paying for a "demo") back to back for about an hour now and they both have their Pros and Cons.
Forza 2 has unrivaled gameplay at the moment as GT5 REALLY isn't out right now. Seriously, the AI in Forza is leagues ahead of anything PD has come out with.
Damage Modeling, ever since the first Forza, this feature is appealing to the avid console race jockey.
The entire visual package is well thought out and is polished. The scenery, distant scenic backgrounds, trees, rub stips are all on par with eachother.
The sound of engines/tires is spot on in Forza, you can tell when you've really lost it in a turn.
GT5's car models are Gorgeous. Seriously, they put a LOT of work into the cars, brakes, tires and I can't wait for an IN CAR view when the final product releases.
GT5 has G25 Support, nuff said.
16 Players online....the jury is still out on this one. 8 is a handful at times with Forza, BUT as an American MORE is better :D
GT5 has ALOT of cars, it was off putting in GT4 with the MASS of absolutely USELESS cars in the game, but as stated before.....MORE is better.
Forza's customization, especially visually with the user created cars is just awe inspiring. Some cars you're just like, "Wow....somebody MADE that. And on time attacks you can see what kind of work the current hot lap holder has put into his vehicle.
Not to mention that Forza 2 has almost been out for a full year and it still looks like GT5 is still going to be awhile away.
I like some good ol fashioned smack talking, but sometimes some of you seem like you're arguing just for the sake of argument.
Unless you drive a Mustang, then I understand why you're so upset ;)
