Why The Hate for Metal Gear Solid: Rising Being Multiplat?

I think its unfair. People say that the game is not being directed by Kojima, well if Kojima is dead 40 years from now and they are still making Metal Gear Solid, does that mean its a spinoff? No. People also say that it is because Raiden is the main character which is why its a spinoff, I could agree with that, but then again MGS2 had Raiden as the main character. I do not think of Peace Walker or Rising as spinoffs. In fact just like Kojima I believe they are both MGS5. So why the hate?

Im just upset that kojimas even making it. I mean he ended metal gear, move on do something else please. He could do so much crazy new stuff or even sequels to something that he hasn't done in a long time like zone of the enders or snatchers.

I don't see why people are hating on it. More people will be able to experience the greatness that MGS has to offer if they don't have a PS3.

I dont see anyone hating it but doesn't change the fact that its a spin off and Solid snake story is over.

MG and MGS have always been multiplat i think as far as nonportables go theres 2 exclusives 3 and 4. so it shouldnt be a surprise. but the same people who are upset are the people who were pissed when FF (another multiplat series only 9 10 and 12 were exclusive) had 13 going mutliplat.

Kojima is heavily involved with Peace Walker and Not Rising, Solid Snake's story ended after 4, the game is a spin off released just to milk the series and Multiplat as you stated. I can see MGS: Rising as a good action game, a AA hack 'n' slash with some stealth in the mix. Peace Walker looks AAA to me being a fully fledged Hideo Kojima game.

Maybe in 2012 we'll see MGS5 or whatever is the TRUE next-gen home console sequel to MGS4.
