Why the hype for HOME?

You can desgin your own little character and house. And you can interact with people and play games like pool and bowling. There are little arecade games too. And it's all free.jack_russel

If you look into it, it does sound and look pretty cool. It wouldn't probably be something I would get into too much, but for others I suppose.

Oh, and they will milk you for microtranscations here, I bet. To all those who think it'll be 100% free.

Firstly who on god's green earth hyped home? I havent heard a single person say "Home is gonna be AAA GOTY!!!" And why are people excited about home? for the same reason alot of people were excited about the sims. You get to create a digital you and you get to live in a digital world. "just go outside and live in the real world" yes i could do that but what people really love about games like the sims and home is the creativity aspect. People love building their awesome houses and decorating them in specific ways and showing them off to their friends. I mean nowadays when i play Sims2, i just build cool unique houses and dont even move characters in, the creativity is what draws me.

And lets not forget that it adds tons of feature to PSN. Clan meetings are now easy to organize, clan battles are also easy to organize, there are tons of free games such as billards, chess, checkers and tons of other arcade games. So when you are tired of playing 6hrs of warhawk and just wanna chill, you can play with your friend a game of chess to relax. And best of all, its optional. You are not required to use it.

Regardless of your console choice, i cant see how someone can seriously bash Home. A Bevy of extra features at no extra cost that isnt forced upon you? Thats like bashing UT3 because it comes with modding tools :?

Thats why we are hyping HOME. XBL in its own place is great but i think HOME certainly will surpass it. But i hear MS is workin on something, similar to HOME.

I am no fanboy, but hitting the town with "ur friends" and playing video games and watching videos seems pretty cool, until you add the fact that it is all digital and you did it without putting on pants. Then it's kind of lame.

I have to agree with the guy who said it's going to be lame - if I want to hang out and talk to my friends, it turns out that there's this amazing place built for that exact purpose. It's called a brewpub.

These things along with the fact that we can have friends from around the globe, or even make some new friends from around the world. This in a very small way could help us all understand people from other lands. Just think of the possibilities.

Pc is not platform you cant sit on the couch and i have my ps3 and my couch but

where is home. Im tired of playing warhawk all day. Please sony release home we dont care if its messy.

Lol jk. To be honest, I'm a 360 fan. But it seems alright.. its gonna get old after a while tho.
