Every freakin time i come onto these forums I see another "PS3 fails" or "PS3 sucks" post, these are so dumb. All I want to say is WHAT DID THE PS3 EVER DO TO YOU? Sales shouldnt even matter, the company only gains from sales you dont gain anything from sales. So please stop the hate, it never did anything to you except compete with your beloved 360.

But the PS3 hate has really increased over the past few weeks. Insulting a video games console on a message board really seems to be enjoyable for some people, for reasons I can't quite fathom.
Some of the factors I believe contribute to the negativity towards the PS3:
The price
The fact you can play online for free
The fact the controllers don't require additional hardware or a unlimited supply of batteries to stay wirelessly functional
The fact that the PS brand won the past two generations of consoles and now that it's loosing it's all to easy for people to start ripping on it and come across as being on the 'winning side'
The the fact that it is getting MGS4
And it also seems that some of those who are against the PS3 talk about the company that their gaming system was made by as their friend or that they think their criticism alone will be enough to stop the PS3 from having any success.

Well I don't own a PS3, but I don't really like it because of all that "next gen doesn't start until we say so." crap. I am also inclined to agree with your other points.

People will always be jealous of what other systems have to offer, I think with the PS3 though it's half jealousy and half legitimate dislikes (or in most cases a means for fanboys to get one off on PS3 owners).
