I do realize Hasting was obviously biased but at least his arguements were from someone looking from the inside.....Peter seems to be a fan and a very angry one at that. Maybe Peter slept in a Holiday Inn therefore he thinks he knows more........chances are he is wrong.GrlGmr

That's what alot of you fail to understand though.  Both Peter and Brian are GUESSING.  No one can predict the future aside from Isaac on Heros (ironic that Peter on Heroes has the same power....hrmmm) and I doubt MS has him on the payroll (yet!).  So knowing that they are both guessing, whose opinion should you go with or more to the point whose opinion holds more validity?  If you were in Vegas would you ask a profession Blackjack player on what you should do or some random guest of the hotel who thinks he knows more because he watches the show on TV? 

They are both biased and both are guessing.  My point is at least Brian can say as a professional on this particular topic, this is a well informed opinion.  If a Bioware Dev for instance wants to come out and make a rebuttle to Brian's blog, I could take that seriously without thinking he is somekind of fanboy who just slept at a Holiday Inn (I love those commericals).  Again, he loses a lot of crediablity with me personally the moment he resorts to cursing and making inaccurate statements.  Maybe some of his points are something that could happen......it just gets drowned out by the hatred this guy feels for the PS3.  Being in the rental industry myself, X360 is doing well in some markets (AK it does great...go figure).  I've spoke with quite a few devs at E3 last year as well.  I'm not biased because I want everyone to do well, more money for my company, so don't think I'm some kind of crazed loon fanboy.  I honestly think that guy wrote that blog while cleaning his gun thinking of all the PS3's he wants to shoot lol.

there's just too much against the ps3 to take #1 this gen.

it's funny that before 2 years ago NOONE had even heard of bluray...and now it's "teh future"...
