I was so close to waiting for the PS3 and buying it in 2006 I'm glad I didn't. Funny how PS3 didn't win a single genre.

It is hard to say considering the PS3 is catching up in sales and will most likely pass X360, so it would be difficult to make that assumption right now. I would like to see a similar article more towards the middle lifespan of the consoles to make such bold statement like that.

I guess we will see where everyone and everything stands in a couple years.

The PS3 may have beat the 360 in Adventure games, but it shows that the Wii actually one it - PS3 was in 2nd. 360 won everything but Adventure games, and the Wii one that one - PS3 didn't actually win any of them.

I find it quite funny that the PS3 is dead last in the RPG's.

Just looked over both quotes and I don't remember saying "catching up fast"? I am looking long term your still stuck on today and with it showing the "Worldwide" sells catching up total number wise, I would like to see about the statement in the middle lifespan of the systems. Didn't mean to put anybody on defense. :roll:

If you play with the #s enough you can get whatever results you want. Gamesrader conveniently counted multiplat games. For me, multiplat games do not add value to a system. A system is only valued on it's good exclusive games.
