I'm sorry but everything that you took the time to post doesn't show that the 360 is losing to the PS3. Systems sold show the PS3 is losing to 360 and Wii, and besides expectations of the Playstation brand, no evidence is available to show that the PS3 will be winning anytime soon.nnavidsonYou don't win the game on the field, but on the practice field. Sony has a better game plan than MS. This is what I'm trying to say.

It's not already beating the 360. Do you even understand what "already" means ("Already" would mean it would ALREADY have to be outselling it.)
Not only that - there hasn't even been a month where the PS3 has outsold it - and systems are typically the "Hottest" around their launch time buzz. Hell, the PS2 sold a million in its first weekend in Japan only - and now retailers are struglling to push PS3 off store shelves. Hardly the same situation, is it?
Dumbest thread in a long time.
Speaking of Japan it outsold the Xbox360 in 2 weeks. Also, PS2 only sold 700,000 in it's first week. The only dumb thing a human can do is to past off a opinion as fact without any proof. It's not already beating the 360. Do you even understand what "already" means.

I disagree. There is no competition. People will buy what they want to buy. I bought a Wii because I like Mario, Metroid, and Zelda games. I bought a PS3 because I wanted to play Tekken, Metal Gear Solid, and Final Fantasy. People buy 360s because they want to play Halo, Gears, and Mass Effect. It's not already beating the 360. Do you even understand what "already" means.

In 3 years did you know that every TV station and television in America has to be digital and no longer analog?
Socrates88
LOL! Yeah once I read this I knew you were full of ****. I actually work at a digital HD facility and although analog is dying out it will never go away. And HD is still 5 to 10 years away from becoming standard. You fail buddy.

OK, then what is it about?
SALES: Right now the PS3 is ALREADY losing.
GAMES: Right now the PS3 is ALREADY losing. Â
BRAND LOYALTY: Right now the PS3 ia ALREADY losing (1 million PS2 were sold in its launch weekend in JAPAN only, and now in its launch window it's struggling to break 230,000 a month while units are freely available on shelves.)

Link Link Where do you work at? I guess news is very slow there. Do I still fail?Digital cable is FAR different from HD digital cable.
Most people who have digital cable do in fact have standard definition digital cable - not HD digital cable. Digital just describes the method in which way it is transmitted to your house - not the quality of the signal. Digital just tends to get better reception. People will still be able to use their old ass CRT sets for digital cable.

It's about gameplanning. PS3 already beat the Xbox360 by having a better gameplan. Sure it's losing in sales Xbox been out a year longer than it has. Same with the games. PS3 is just playing catch up, and doing a great job at it.I think this question will upset some, but the truth never goes down easy. I won't bash the 360 because that's not my style, but I will show some logical points on why the Xbox360 losing the war to the PS3 already.lol, You basically just typed a bunch of poop.
Logic 1: Brand loyalty. How much bad news has Sony been getting lately? Even was ranked up there as one of the worst hyped electronic gear of the year. Wow...this system should not be selling with a claim like that. However, it is selling. Faster than Xbox360, PS1, PS2, and Dreamcast had ever did. How is it still selling with such negative aura around it? Brand loyalty. You can call them blind, dumb, or just plain ignorant consumers, but you know, and I know that they will continue to buy the Playstation brand.
Logic 2: Future proof. Waitstation 3? Wait Beyond? Wait until...? Since when waiting become a bad thing? I never knew all the AAA titles were release on one certain day. If I'm not mistaking, but doesn't a console lifespan last about 5-8 years? Hasn't all major consoles before this gen, saw the majority of there great games at the peak or decline of it's lifetime? How is PS3 beating the Xbox360 in preparing for the future? Blu-ray player, HDMI, Wi-fi, free on-line, and a standard HDD that can be replace. In 3 years did you know that every TV station and television in America has to be digital and no longer analog? Seems like the optional 360 choices will become standard. I think MS kinda knew this was coming. What was it called? The Zephry? It's like a PS3 without the HD disc drive.
Logic 3: Games. So 360 has the better library? Is it so good that you would start a petition to take a exclusive game from the PS3? Tell me how good is that? The last 3 months there been rumor mills of DMC4, FFXIII, MGS4, Tekken 6, and Okami. Why so many rumors of these games losing their exclusive rights? If the 360 has better games than the PS3, why do you want their exclusives? How many rumors you hear about Mass Effect, Alan Wake, GeoW coming to the PS3? Not enough to see it being typed up of an article or on a major gaming website. You know why? It's because PS3 has the games, and your rumors proves it. Sony built an empire of support for it's PS brand, and MS is at a stage where the PS1 once was; however, there can not be equal share of developers on all consoles. That's not how the business work. Once the flair of the PS2 goes down, the brand loyalty of the PS fans well jump ship with the PS3, and where the consumer goes the developers goes.
There are other logical factors on why PS3 will beat out 360: more experience, better success in Japan and Europe, definitive system, etc... I wanted to share the main three. Nothing I'm saying is a lie. You can research all this on the internet or by personal experience. There is just too many logical reason of PS3 winning than the PS3 losing. Sorry for typing too much, but I want to thank you for everyone who took the time out to read it.

So even though sony has good practices, microsoft is still winning on the field. And im pretty into sports. So i know good practice will follow with a good game on the field. But, winning on the field constantly will teach you better than having a good practice then going out and getting your butt whooped
different technology you monkey. They had to be more careful about how much they manufacture so they dont wont them to break like the 360s. More consoles, more defective ones. Less consoles, more durable consoles. And for all you lemmings that think this thread stupid its basically saying that ps3 is winning because sony planned for the future better than 360 did.BRAND LOYALTY: Right now the PS3 ia ALREADY losing (1 million PS2 were sold in its launch weekend in JAPAN only, and now in its launch window it's struggling to break 230,000 a month while units are freely available on shelves.)

You right. CRT don't need an upgrade...It's only going to set a new standard for television. Cable knows the people still have analog as of today, but the change will happen in 2010. Say goodbye to digital hook-up with your analog TV.Digital cable is FAR different from HD digital cable.

I think this is the first time I ever been arguing over the Topic title and not the topic. Isn't "winning" means that is has not won? So in saying 'will win" and "winning" is the same thing. You emphasis "Already" to actually holds no time what so ever. Why waste your time on such lame matters? Then you worded the title poorly. Because your entire topic was explaining how the PS3 is ALREADY winning when it is in fact not currently winning in any sense of the word. You're saying they're "already winning" because they have a better gameplan but that doesn't make any sense whatsoever, it does however make sense to say that because of their better gameplan they will win despite the fact that they are currently losing.

This thread will get buried, lol. Good point threads seem to be lost, while the troll topics gets 10 pages worth of self proclaimed ownage.Socrates88This isn't a "good thread" because he's failed to remember that the PS1 and PS2 sales figures were limited by a short supply, the PS3 has NOT outsold its supply. In any case stating the obvious "brand loyalty", "future proofing", and "games" doesn't mean anything. Has the PS3 caught up with the Xbox 360 in terms of global sales? No. Will it? Maybe. Whether or not the PS3 is a *better* system is an individual matter - however at $500+ for a system Sony is severely limiting their market. As Sony themselves has pointed out, the first five million systems or so are going to sell *regardless* of price - the other 95 million I imagine are going to be about the price coming down. If the PS3 came down to $200 would it win the system war? Yes. Playstation brand name, Blu-Ray, free online, it wins the war - at its current price? No.
The PS3 isn't failing nor is it flop. But ummmm....... no it's not beating the 360 nor is the 360 losing. Why can't cows just be satisfied with the truth, exaggerated overstatement.
Where is logic in spending top dollar for a console you have to wait to reach its full potential, when a price drop will most likely come when PS3 is in it's stride?

actually, the public has spent more money on thr ps3 than the 360 in this last month. the only reason the 360 has sold more is because it is cheap.
