Did Valve ever say why they delayed Half Life 2 Orange Box on the PS3 to Dec. 11th? I really dont see why, if they have the 360 version done, they cant seem to get the PS3 version out at the same time? OH well, maybe it will be better on PS3 because of extra time spent on it.

Valve isnt developing ps3 version i think.....its EA UK developing that version....and i think its delayed coz of that
I thought it was half life, but then I saw some wierd characters that look rubbish... I dont understand

Maybe you're looking at the Team Fortress 2 characters. The Orange box comes with 5 games; Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 (A Team-Based Multiplayer game), and Portal (A First person Puzzle game).
Because they don't really care all that much about the PS3 and let EA develope it.. Well.. Cows can still be happy, if there are any game destroying bugs the PS3 won't have them. Or I suppose it could have Exclusive content in the form of game destroying bugs since its EA.
The Orange Box is an afterthoughtfor the ps3. Valve doesn't like the ps3 , anda port team is handlingthe ps3's version.If they do a poor job with it they won't get my money. I will just buy one of the other shooters out there. They are going to be abundant.

The Xbox 360 and PC versions are being done at Valve, where as the PS3 version is being done by one of EA's teams. Basically, Valve finishes stuff on PC. Valve ports it to 360. Valve sends that stuff to EA who eventually implement it into their latest build a few weeks down the road.
I was thinking, there has been alot of delays with ps3 games lately. Maybe they are being delayed to add the rumble feature into the game, becuase the RUMBLE is returning.

a sony owner hiding behind the pc what a shocker, by the way dirt was created by codemaster not ea. So far the track record with ea and ps3 has not been too nice

lmao, you think the delay will help the ps3 version? riiiiight. I already know cows will blame EA again.
And what about dirt? It released MONTHS later on the ps3 and i still think the 360 version looked better. Only reason the ps3 version scored higher was because of the new review system.
But EA doing the Port on the PS3 is a bad thing. They dont exactly have the best track record on PS3 becasue there too lazy to optimize the Hardware. So EA is going to screw it up with their Lazyness.
