Why was Sony boosting about Blue Ray and Cell??

during their conference, they had the developers talk about

"How teeh cell and lue ray is teh bested"

I mean u don't get PC develoeprs saying DX10, or the top of the line graphics card is the only way to make the game...

it was kind of stupid to watch, great conference though.

Even according to your own fanboy post, no developer ever said Cell and BR is "the only way to make the game". However, while they did say they felt it was the best, I see devs saying DX10 and graphics specs are "the best" all the time. They may not say which CARD is the best, but certainly which capabilities they like. You may recall the unified shaders arguements.

The Crysis developers dont just brag about being able to take advantage of top of the line graphics card DX10, they also brag of their ability to allow the game to run on mid ranged systems and still top almost all games in the graphics department to date.

The Lair developers and the Heavenly Sword devs said they couldn't have done it without BR. I dunno about the cell comment though.

WTF is with calling it the Cell? I know that is its name already! It clearly isn't that special, look at the small visual difference between Lair, Gears of War, Heavenly Sword, and Mass Effect and tell me its LEAPS AND BOUNDS better.

It isn't selling systems the way you thought it would and it won't. People don't care about horsepower, they care about games.

but they could talk about the game, and not boost about te console, every1 knows the specs, just show the games, thats what ps3 was lacking
