Why would anyone play on the PC?

I grew up gaming on PC. One might say I grew into it. I prefer most everything about it to consoles (which is not to be percevied as a slight, but rather my personal preference). Community is one reason I own a PS3 though.

and I honestly never found SC very appealing =S WC3 maybe, but not SC. Besides those games could be ran on my toaster if I so wished to play it.

Also do you PC gamers agree that console community is about 100x better these days?

My favorite genres are simulators and wargames.

Same reason why a person would rather drive a porsche than a ford. If you can afford to get better, then why settle for less? Pc gaming is the royal treatment of videogames.

Last time I went on Xbox Live, I had 8 kids screaming at me, got called a chink/squinty 14 times and got the N word thrown around like a beachball on a day on a beach.

It cannot be denied that consoles are getting the better game choice these days. Hell game developers are even starting to develop multiplatform games

for consoles and then port it to your pc. lulz

I'm going before it gets too hectic.

I'm a console gamer (PSWii and a bit of 360 as well) and I'd LOVE to have a gaming PC.

Some of the best games ever are only on PC dude, what are you talking about?

Crysis, WoW, Civilization series, World in Conflict, CS, StarCraft, Diablo II, Battlefield (before BC), Command & Conquer, WarCraft, Age of Empire, Baldur's Gate, The Sims, etc...

Plus a LOT of games even I don't know about because the last good PC I ever had is like 5 years old. (I'm a Mac now)

I'm pretty much always going to need to have a super powerful computer to do 3D rendering for my Engineering and Art Design hobbies, why not use it for games, too, if I've already got money put into it?

Plus, I like the exclusives. More in depth strategy/tactics games, more atmospheric mystery/horror games, more quirky indie games, etc.
