Why would Gamestop call the next Xbox 720 a hot device if it was DRM?

A few days ago Gamestop reached out to the media and announced that after spending much time with Microsoft, they can confirm that their next console will be a hot device, and that the world will stand up and take notice when it`s announced. Just one month earlier Gamestop were pissed off because the blocking used games and DRM rumours. This doesn`t make any sense?
