Why Xbox live is completely worth the annual fee.

I hear alot of people , (mainly cows) cry about xbox live fee's and how its not worth it and blah blah blah.

but this is why you are all silly

You pay a small fee for live a year, and in return

Microsoft spends 100's of millions on taking sonys exclusive games, which saves you £299.99 or $399.99 on a ps3.Thats your live fees for about 10 years!!! or 10 new games.

It cost microsoft 1.01 billion!!! to give you a 3 year warrenty, which means they obviously care about you, no charge for replacement parts.so for the next 3 years i am covered, and if it breaks then i get 3 years again, good times.

You get the best online service, which is constantly updated.

You have access to the biggest and best gaming library this gen.

And best of all you can get a 360 from £99.99 in the uk

Thats 3 times cheaper than the cheapest ps3.

Well that's a lie becasue you get a 1 year warrenty with the 360's , and 3 years with the rrod.

It's not a "lie", RODD is the only problem that is covered by the 3 year warranty. The 1 year warranty covers all problems but it's standard, it has nothing to do with MS.

I'm pretty sure Microsoft can handle the charges for their services.

I hate giving money to a company that's going to dumb it into stuff like MSN a site that almost nobody uses.

Really never got the opposition towards the fee. I bought a $50 card last Nov that will last me until Dec. 2008. 13 months for the price of a pre-played game. Even if I wasn't in a decent spot financially, I could still afford it. I find it very hypocirtical that the people doing the most complaining about an annual $50 fee shelled out 4, 5, and in some cases $600 for their gaming systems. To each his own, it's not like you have to pay for the Silver membership. bez2083

the silver membership shouldnt even be mentioned because you basically do nothing thats important for a game consoles online.

I like the better online features and all. Its a nice service.

But, to me, paying for online seems superfulous.

Erm all companies care about their consumers. They have to, how else do you think they make money? If they just treated customers like crap then they would turn around and say, "Screw you!". That's not exactly very good buisness sense. Now while it is ture that they only really want your money, why should you expect anything else? They are a buisness after all.

Too sum that up, companies care about their customers, even if they care in a very pragmastic way, just not on a personel level, it is not pathetic to point this out.

A 10 or so minute install is so long compared to waiting to get your console back after being repaired?

A shooter on the opposite console is bland and boring, but a shooter on your favorite console is the best looking thing ever thats basically the same thing with different characters?

the thing is that I dont play my 360 365 days a year. Again, at least MS can add voicechat and online gaming to the Silver Account members for FREE and the Gold members get access to everything. I wish every Xbox game you bought came with 1 month free at least. Tjeremiah1988

I can buy nearly 2 games or a brand new game or get upgrades for my computer plus the $50 add up with the years u use it

Also who cares if M$ lost $1.01 biliion its their fault for making a broken console...

Why should I get a console that I have to buy many upgrades to keep it safe from the rrodplus they charge u $50 every just to play online with friends especially when there are 2 other consoles on the market which give u free online...

In my opinion 360 is a pointless purchase unless u got a lot of extra cash...

Sony spends 100"s of million's on 1st & 2nd party games and new IP's and still get some games that were supposed to be x360 exclusive games and yet ended on the ps3 Bioshock, Oblivion 4, Eternal Sonata etc...

MS rushed a broken console on the market probably knowing about the hardware failure and to avoid law suits from all over the world they had to give their consumers a 3 year warranty while Sony didn't rush their console PS3 doesn't have a high failure rate

You get not just the best but pretty much the same online service as x360 for free, which is constantly updated for free(not a joke)

x360 has the bigger library then the ps3 but what do u expect it had a year head start

and best of all if you buy the $ 399 PS3 you will get a great DVD/Bluray player, 40gb hdd, wifi, a rechargeable controller and most impotent thing of all great games and a relabel console

now lets see x360 is $ 199 + Live $50 a year or 13 month i believe and lets say you pay for live for 4 years thats if u like playing online games would be $ 200 = $400

and what do you get a not so relabel console, no HDD, no wifi they cost extra and are over priced if u ask me which is BS but u do get some great games like Mass Effect also on PC or Gears also on PC and a DVD player/HDDVD R.I.P
