Why xbox360 is better than ps3 and will win the console war.

Alot of people on this forum seem to think the ps3 is better than the 360, but I will prove that is wrong right here right now.

1)Better Controller- The x360 has the superior controller, with a ps3 controller you feel as if youre holding a flimsy peice of plastic that will break easily (as they do)

2)Better Graphics-The x360 has superior graphics to the ps3. Games like Halo 3: ODST and Gears of War 2 prove this. Although still gameplay>graphics which brings me to my next point.

3)Better Games- The x360 has a better game library than the ps3. Games like Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 are the most popular multiplayer games and have sold millions of copies. The games are much funner than any games on the ps3

4)Better Live Service- Xbox live is much better than psn. I have played both on xbox live and psn and xbox live has a much better connection. Psn also lags at times which gets in the way of gaming. Xbox live you can buy games digitally and even get xbox originals. Xbox live also has cross game chat.

5)Active Online Community- Games on the xbox360 like Halo 3 and Gears of War 3 have hundreds of thousands of users online everyday. Big ps3 games like Killzone 2 and Resistance 1/2 and to an extent Uncharted 2 have dead online communities with barely any players.

6)Free Repairs- If your xbox360 breaks microsoft repairs it for free for 3 years. Playstation 3's cost $150 dollars to repair.

7)PC/360 Multiplats- The xbox360 has these games but the ps3 does not.

So xbox 360 is the superior console and will be winning this holiday season and next year, and this generation. With upcoming huge titles like Halo Reach and others the competition will be blown away.

the first 3 main aspects you pointed out are subjective. and i think both consoles are great with both there pros and cons.

Better Controller: This is an opinion but I do agree it does hae a slightly better controller for FPS

Better Graphics: This is where everyone will disagree, Uncharted 2 won best graphics and come on, Modern Warfare 2 has better graphics than Halo ODLC and Gears 2

Better Games: Opinion, but you have to admit that the 360 has been slacking games.

PSN and Live: The only difference between the two is cross game chat which the PS3 will be getting in an up comming firmare update

Active online community: There is still a lot of people playing the PS3 games you said. Halo 3 will always have people playing.

360 free repairs: Not a HUGE deal for the PS3 since it hardly ever breaks unlike the 360s legendary Red Ring of Death

PC/360 Multiplats- We have games game you guys don't have too ;)

Overall you information is opinionated and you don't address what the PS3 does to make up for what the 360 does.

But those reasons are mainly bias..... PS3 in almost everyway is just as good or better than the xbox 360

I just find the 360's community way more interesting and user friendly. Thus, I play it ussually way more. plus , my multiplats look minorly better on my 360 for some wierd reason.

Is this real? um...

Here I go :

1. Controller taste. Subjective. I find them equal, save for the horrible Dpad on 360. I have large hands, and I can dunk in Basketball. I also play 360 a lot, I have 100,000+ gamerscore, so please don't mention that I don't play my 360 that much.
2. Halo ODST does not prove anything graphically. Please never use it as an example again. 360 does seem to get the majority of pixels on multiplats when ignoring PC, however, for the most part, multiplats are virtually identical. There are exceptions of course on both sides. Yes, GeoW looked great iin it's time. One thing you should look into is that the PS3 has better looking exclusives, games like Killzone 2, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, MGS4, etc.
3. Better Games. Again, Subjective. I do agree the 360 has a great library though. I can say that as I have played it to death.
4. Xbox Live is better than PSN, I agree, but you should mention that $50 a year adds up, I've spent over $500 in that service (actually more, since I have two 360's)
5. PS3's online community is just fine. Incorrect.
6. 360 only offers 3 years on RROD/E74. If you get anything else, YOU GOT TO PAY. So, wrong. The PS3 and 360 get a one year warranty, other than the 360 RROD/E74 warranty.
7. PS3 has upcoming PC/PS3 multiplats like Final Fantasy 14, The Agency, DC Universe, not to mention PSP/PS2/PS3 multiplats like MLB :The Show, Buzz, Singstar, etc.

Halo Reach will be big, but don't discount Gran Turismo 5 and God of War 3. If you want to talk sales, fine, but that's not a measurement of actual game QUALITY. I hope you know that. I mean, we all know Wii wins with Wii Fit outselling Halo, despite Wii Fit costing $90!...not to mention the Wii itself has uber sales over PS3 and 360.

It's fine to have an opinion, and you are free to believe the 360> All, or whatever. That's fine. But some of your points are incorrect, or aren't expounded upon.

1)Better Controller- The x360 has the superior controller, with a ps3 controller you feel as if youre holding a flimsy peice of plastic that will break easily (as they do)

4)Better Live Service- Xbox live is much better than psn. I have played both on xbox live and psn and xbox live has a much better connection. Psn also lags at times which gets in the way of gaming. Xbox live you can buy games digitally and even get xbox originals. Xbox live also has cross game chat.

5)Active Online Community- Games on the xbox360 like Halo 3 and Gears of War 3 have hundreds of thousands of users online everyday. Big ps3 games like Killzone 2 and Resistance 1/2 and to an extent Uncharted 2 have dead online communities with barely any players.

6)Free Repairs- If your xbox360 breaks microsoft repairs it for free for 3 years. Playstation 3's cost $150 dollars to repair.

I for one certainly don't. Not after using the 360 controller. It's just highlighted everythign wrong with the PS controller.

I think the 360 controller really only stands out for FPS and maybe some TPS, but for most of the other genres, you can't go wrong with either and the 360 controller is horrid for fighting game, i would dare to say that the 360 controller is more horrible for fighting games than the ps3 controller is to FPS.

Looks are subjective. I don't think Killzones all that good looking, However i agree UC2 is the ebst lookign console game, but it's not by a boastable margin.

While looks are subjective, I wouldn't say that UC2 visuals are leagues beyond most games out there, but it's definitely not by a margin either and you do remember when m$ PR team damage controlled when KZ2 was released stating that the 360 have a exclusive in the works to match or beat KZ2 visuals. I'm betting that is the reason why bungie is going with a custom engine with Halo Reach.

Free, and it really shows. It's a poorly put together web of semi- compatible apps.

Even though this is true, you do realize that some ps3 exclusives can handle more players at one time and have less lag than most 360 multiplats and exclusives with fewer player counts. I know that with most multiplats, XBL shines, but the ps3 does have exclusives that makes the competition pales in comparison with quality.

The 360 failure rate has been down to normal numbers since 08, and yet it STILL gets free repairs. This is a plus, no matter how you spin it.

There's no way you need to spin it. Don't try to make it out like the free service is a plus when the only reason why it was free was because of the extremely high failure rate count . The RROD even surpassed the DRE delimma and the only reason why the RROD doesn't seems as bad is because m$ is fixing them for free while sony was charging.
