Why xbox360 is so much better than ps3

Over the past few years, there has been the constant and ongoing fight over which console is the best......well i am extending this topic!There has always been the discussions on the ps3's 8 cell processor and how the 360 has 4 mb more video card space and all of the fights over graphics, controllers, all that heeby jeeby crap. There is one thing though that is never discussed all too much and it is the quality of the games! The console that satisfies in all categories is the xbox360 right! I have both systems and i like them both, but the only console which overheats, even though i have the cooling fan, is the ps3! So all the people who have said that the 360 is the console with the problems.....open your eyes! BAM!

I agree with you with the overheating thing that is bs. I have both two and I play my 360 more cause it has more games and stuff but the ps3 has better hardware and Blu Ray is pretty sweet with my 42 inch plasma tv. Gaming wise the edge is to the 360 but the ps3 if for more multimedia purposes but i would say the 360 is better right nowPapaGlide

Sounds like the crazy MS marketing guys are working overtime. Yeah they actually have marketing companies that have people posting on forums with different personalitites. One of those personalities is incoherent crazy fakeboy/fanboy. :)

PS3 never heats up ever, you can leave it on for 2 weeks and it's good. Hot air coming out means the cooling system is keeping it cool inside.

yeah.. 360 is still beter when it comes to games right now. though it appears that ps3 will be better in the long run as it has a more reliable hardware. just my opinion..SuperPogi

The 360 is most def a tight system. The only gripe i had with it was the best games were really short. Except for elder scrolls. I got bored with after all the good games. Atleast with the Ps3 if i get bored with the nextgen games i can go back and play all the ps2 must haves. We all know that the ps2 has one of the best library's in gaming history

Ok first lets look at the definition of the word Overheat

-Verb(used with object)

So wouldn't the Ps3 cease function if it's overheating,if it's producing more heat than it can withstand?The reason why the Ps3 releases alot of hot air is because just like the 360 its a very powerful machine,but unlike the 360 which uses 3(im not sure if thats the correct number) small fans,to remove the hot air from inside the system,the Ps3 has 1 big fan which moves alot more air than the smaller fans do.I dont know about you but I would rather have hot air coming out of the system than hot air just sitting there causing problems.

thanks, and i am glad that you learned something new today, but i was using the word to its general use. When a system overheats like the ps3 or 360, it will shut down or freeze up. I could have used the term, overheated to the extent ofa full system freeze, but i never thought that someone would go to the trouble to look up the word and post the meaning. Well i am so glad we have websters dictionary! Without it, i wouldn't know how to speak my own language! Wow! all of this because this guy is so hateful against the 360!

Sorry, pal, but STATISTICS say otherwise. I suggest that you not ignore them next time, before you decide to make such backwards, and completely FALSE comments. But, yes, the 360 does indeed have some great games. It is just too bad that the console itself is a piece of junk.
