Whys uncharted 2 got so high reviews? its no diff than Tomb raider.

If it was no different then Tomb Raider then it wouldnt have scored higher then Tomb Raider.

If you really wanted to know you would actually read the reviews, but it's painfully apparent you are out to spread hate on a game you have most likely not even played. Good luck with that.

Are you saying that, just because Uncharted is similar to tomb raider/Indiana...that it should score lower, not even considering the story telling, gameplay, its unique style of animation, graphics...characters, etc? wow, just wow. 2) buy Uncharted2

3) Play through the whole sp campaign & spend some time online

4) Post your thoughts about the game

Why not just rent U2 1st and the buy it if you like it?

everyone actually read or watch the reviews thou, they constantly say UC2 has nothing original but actually improved those ideas from other games

so now if originality was a factor in the review score, Im sure the game would have scored much lower!!

Your logic is so flawled, and erronious at the same time theres nowhere to begin, the game is a lot more than just a tomb rider, pretty mutch 95% of the media and fans say so, plus you hanvent even played the game wich is alredy sad to bash something you dont even know.

so basically you just didnt notice that U2 offered different a story, different gameplay (cover mechanics / shooting etc), better voice acting & online co-op / other mp modes, didnt even play the game but you know its the same as TR just cause Nathan Drake is also a treasure hunter ?

IMO Demons Souls is the best RPG this gen.. and ive played games like oblivion, mass effect. But mass effect has the most decent story. I like the men in black set up. :P

Uncharted is a welcomed IP, it's something that was missing from the onslaught of FPS, MMO's & RTS's that flood the market.... there was a hole in the market, and Uncharted Series fits nicely into it, imo.

There is no other TPS/action/platformer, that has the same quality of narrative, environments & likable characters and overall presentation as Uncharted... I'm glad that the franchise exists, even though everything about it has been done b4.... no other game has done all those things together as well as Uncharted has.

Great Single Player combined with a really fun Multiplayer, packed with bonuses & extras to extend its life..... its well deserving of its 9.5 status.
