Wich country is the most important in the consol war?

I have seen alot of post in different threads when people talking about which country is the most important to win in.

So i get this number from a Swedish game magazine. Now the sales number is from last year but if you look at the ps2

success i should say that all regions is pretty important ifthe companywants to win this consol war

Playstation 2
Japan (inkl. Asien): 23,99 million
Northamerica: 44,86 million
Europa (inkl. Australien): 42,4 million

Totalt: 111,250,000

Expected sales in the end of 2006 : 114,69 million

It depends on your game taste (I never really though I'd be able to relate that to sales). If you like Western games, then pick a console that is more Western-orientated. If you like Japanese games, like me, then you pick a console that's winning in Japan.

The PS2 won in both worlds, that's why it had both :)

1. America

2. Euro Countries (Mostly UK, then france, then Spain and Italy)

3. Japan

I love how it's backwards with the DS xD

Europe - 13.83 million
USA - 13.20 miliion

Seeing as ps2 in the usa sold about the same as Xbox+Gamecube combined everywhere, its the us as if you win there your console still is sucesful even if it flops everywhere else.
