Now for the seemingly real fight between PlayStation 3 and 360...its really funny that we compare them now.

Now that the PS3 hasnt yet been enough explored  from inferior to it developers....

Now that the 360 had a 1 year headstart with all what this means.(more games,development ease,instalment base which makes it difficult for Sony to have as many exclusives as wanted.)(not for long)

Microsoft rushed the 360 because it knew that the only way for any console to sell in the market is when an equal PlayStation doesnt exist.

And the Wii is outselling the PS3 in Japan by almost 3:1. lol!! Not sure what the OP is talking about. Just because the PS3 is being released in the U.K., it's not going to make a bit of difference. The U.K. didn't even fill all their pre-orders. The PS3 will be lucky to sell over 500,000 units in 2 months in the U.K. The PS3 won't start doing anything until it's price comes down about $200 or more.

Well I'm not American and I bought the 360 because it had games I wanted and had a reasonable price tag. Sales numbers or the US foriegn debt had nothing to do with my decision. The games out on the system and the games coming out were the main reason.

I'm sorry, every time I browse system wars, I find a topic that seems like the stupidest one ever, but this may end up taking the cake. How do you claim that a system with massive problems (price point is too high, hard to develop for, consumer opinion is low at the moment, 20 gig model was already scrapped, there are few games, backwards compatibilty has been lessened to cut costs, etc) which is being CRUSHED by both competitors (seriously, the Wii is destroying it in 2 countries, and the 360 is doing the same in the US) is ready to take 1st place in the console war? Were you one of those special ed. people that paid $5000 for a PS3 on Ebay on day 1? Because if not, how could you possibly be so blind?

There's plenty of hope left for Sony fanboys (the Sony name goes a long way), but at the moment, it's HOPE, not solid FACT. So until Sony is outselling the Wii, and at LEAST making up ground on the 360 quickly (in my area the 360 is easily outselling the PS3 right now, even when both are in stock), THEN maybe you might consider re-posting this topic.
