I'm not going to be pretentious, I'm making this thread to see who is really getting milked the most. We're both getting milked, but IMO I feel better about getting milked because the XBL games have online multiplayer or achievements or other additional features so they are not exact rehashes/re-releases. Anyway, this isn't about that because people can pay for what they want.
Mine: Street Fighter, 8 dollars and (Future) Double Dragon (probably 8 dollars).
I've made other XBL purchases (Uno, Texas Hold Em, and that Smash Bros rip off game) but that's it.
vc games = none. im waiting for link to the past to come out in uk.
xbl games = hexic hd (free with console), uno(400 pts), street fighter (800 pts), doom (800 pts), small arms (800 pts), texas hold em (free). plan on getting plenty of upcoming games such as, street trace, worms, castle crashers, hoopworld and so on.
I got Gunstar Heroes, Super Mario Bros., and The Legend of Zelda. Price rings up at a great $18. That's a decent value to me, but I know that the price could be a couple bucks cheaper still.
4 VC Games: Ecco the Dolphin, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and Super Mario World.
2 XBLA Games: Doom, and Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved.
Oh, and for the record neither XBLA or VC is milkage. You pay money, and you get a good product in return. It's not like you're paying for something that is, for example, necessary to play a game. It's optional. Most people's idea of what milkage means is just stupid.
I happen to have the only major broadband service provider whose routers are incompatible with the Wii so I haven't even gone online with my Wii yet. However I have purchased 45 Gamecube games! The craziest thing is since I got most of those games for less then 10 bucks I'm paying less for modern games on physical discs with cases and manuals then people are paying for old-@ss games with no cases or manuals. Heck, I got Metroid Prime for $3.99 in near perfect condition during a sale Gamestop had last December. I think the suggestion that XBLA's addition of worthless, tedious, and completely meaningless "achievement points" makes a significant difference is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard on this forum.
   I don't get the whole " milking" issue. Why do people get worked up, and decide " Hey! They are selling upgrades for My game! I need all of them!!!! Crap, that cost me $50..... It's Microsofts/Sony's Fault for offering ways to improve the game!!"
   This isn't a scam. If you are dumb enough to sit and buy $100s of dollars in downloads, thats your fault, no one elses, and you need more self contol. They are Selling Something, right? You CAN buy them, it's optional, not mandatory, and no one, or thing, is forcing you to. So, as a fair exchange, you pay for the goods. The Terms are clear and not misleading. You give them MP or $, and they give you "Item".
   "Bu-Bu-But Dey are selling horse armor for 200 MP and thats a rip off" Well then don't buy it moron!!!! If you are dumb enough to pay 3 or 4 bucks for some virtual armor, then you deserve this so called "milking"
   And the virtual console. " Dey iz charging for the Gamez!!!" Listen. You were willing to pay 50 dollars for these games 20-30 years ago. they are now $10. If you don't want to pay that, don't buy it. It's that simple.
   the only thing really called Milkage is things that you HAVE to buy, like a replacement for a defective part, special cables, a game accesory.....

Ok so your talking about how many arcade games I have purchased? SFII, Uno, Contra and I think thats it. You said double dragon is coming out? I will be picking that up to.
