Nintendo released the Wii 1 whole year after the 360. And look how it catched up both software and hardware wise. Sales, quality of games.

Wii has more AAA exclusives then the 360 currently has. And Mario-Kart wich will be released soon also, will add another AAAe to the Wii's library.

M$ had a whole 1 year headstart and yet still failed to stay on top. Look how much the Wii is ahead of its competitors.

Lemkids and cows can cry it out all they want. Go ahead and deny it.

I own both a Wii and a 360, they are both great consoles with great games.
Although the 360 has a more solid library, and Mario Kart Wii probally won't make the AAA.

The only unstoppable thing about the Wii is the amount of crap that comes out on it... but seems like crap is cheap nowadays and sells more :)

Shovelware can just be ignored. Nobody is putting a gun in your face forcing you to buy them.

SMG, MP3, Zelda TP, SSB. These games alone are worth the Wii. Quality > Quantity

I'm not a fake or fanboy or whatever. I have all 3 systems. And I'm just stating the facts. How can a M$ be behind Nintendo sales wise when they got a 1 year headstart in the first place. Why don't you explain me that first, huh?

If for you games such as COD4, GTAIV, DMC3, Burnout etc etc are not important its only because Wii cannot support them and therefore not released on it.. All consoles have their exclusives but its limiting a console not having the huge multi-plats coming out... Its not about hating, its reality...

naaa, you dont say :P My argument is why do devs bother if the game is gonna suck? It annoys me when i go down to a game store to see the 10 top latest games and find that 9 out of 10 games are shovelware.

It's still too early to claim victory.

I think these threads are going to backfire like crazy by the end of the year.

i don't see Mario Kart getting anything higher than a 7.5, and I hope I am wrong. It'll still be fun and what's expected though.

I think Brawl is a perfect example of how to handle an updated title: that disk is PACKED and an incredible value. I can't believe the amount of work they put into it. I wish they would clone that team and put them on ALL such titles.

Mario Kart has a good chance of scoring AAAA, if the online modus is done well. With alot of extra features like SSB.

I'm not saying it will get AAA guaranteeded 100%. Of course I will also remain skeptical. But Nintendo is really pushing hard these days. Almost all their games is either AA or AAA. So it has a good chance to score AAA.

Mario Kart Double Dash scored 87% in gamerankings. Don't rule out the possiblity, because then you will be the one surprised.

gosh, when did a blame the system :lol: The difference with Ps2 is that most games in the first year wernt first party titles that scored AAA to AA. Yes, it had shovelware no doubt, but there was a majority of games that were worth playing at the time instead of the selected 1 or 2(Wii) just like now. Again, most games that have scored AAA are first party titles on the Wii. Always "Mario this" "Metriod that" "Zelda This". Ugh. i mean come on, i go to the highest rated games for Wii on GS, and 7 out of 10 titles are Nintendo titles. If Sony or MS were pissing out games like Halo and SOTC all the time, it would become extremely annoying. Thats just my oppinion. I persoanlly think that if you aint a Ninty fan for its game(zelda,marion) then you will have a hard time appreciating the Wii.

It doesn't directly compete as most gamers who buy a 360/PC/PS3 also may buy a Wii but only as their secondary, party game system for friends and family.

Now if there were a SEGA console in the mix as low coast, low tech gadget console that grandma & grandpa could also play; Nintendo would be splitting their sales with SEGA much the same as what is happening between MS and Sony.

I never disputed that, did I? I am simply saying that you shouldn't come across as so aggressive. People at the top don't need to constantly rub it unless they are insecure. That's why hermits and sheep tend to be quiet and defensive while lemmings and cows foam at the mouth with anger.

Uh oh, Never knew a game had to score AAA or AA to be worth playing.. darn... Only 1 or 2 games worth while on the Wii? And yes I am listing first party first, they are first.. :) Lets see, SSBB, SMG, MP3:C, LoZ:TP, Super Paper Mario, No More Heros, Zack & Wiki, Madden '07, Madden '08, Mercury Meltdown Revolution, Super Monkey Ball, Wario Ware, Resident Evil 4: WE(and UC but thats not going to be listed), Rayman Ravin Rabbids, Guitar Hero 3, MLB power Pro's, MoH: H2, Bully, Trauma Center, and Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Add in the countless VC games that have reached AA status or higher(which there are 20 of) and you have 40 AA or higher games avaliable to play. Now since that AA or higher games are the only ones worth playing, I see a large variety of games to play on my lil ole Wii.

I didn't even add the upcoming titles for the Wii that are going to be coming out throughout 2008. If you think SSBB and MKWii is all there is, you are either a blind fanboy or just plain out stupid. I'll let you choose which one you are.

The problem with the part about Halo, is A LOT of games for the PS3 and XBox 360 are just that First or Third person shooters, which have been done to death in the past few years.. almost as bad as reality TV has been.

So I'll appreciate my Wii plenty.
