The Xbox didn't have better games then the PS2... It has games that might be better over all but it had too few of them. The PS2 had the most high quality games of the 3 consoles last gen.
Or maybe the fact that it has a fairly lacklustre showing outside of a pack-in, minigame collection and a game that's available for a much cheaper console. (I have a Wii by the way)

The Xbox didn't have better games then the PS2... It has games that might be better over all but it had too few of them. The PS2 had the most high quality games of the 3 consoles last gen.
idk about that, imo there were way too many crap games in comparison. they both had some great games, but i think overall, xbox wins out game wise. quality over quantity

I think the fact remains that most 3rd party developers will not bring their main franchises to the Wii because it just can't handle them. They would be taking a step backwards. This is why Wii will continue to see spinoffs (if anything at all) for the developers to cash in off of (ex: Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Dragon Quest Joker, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronciles: Crystal Bearers). The Big 3rd party titles will never come to the Wii ever.

ok i love the wii. loved nintendo considering the snes was my first console. but seriously that was one dumb statement. AAAs dont mean much if you dont have depth in your console library. the PS3 has 11 games that are AAs. the wii has i think 6 or 7 games that are AA with 1 AAA. so yeah you can give the nod to nintendo cause it does have a AAA (warioware personally zelda should have been AAA, and wario should have got an 8.3 or something.). the 360 has a great lineup allready. also all 3 systems are getting great games this year. the wii is winning in sales, but people who hate on a systems success arent jealous there haters. but your doing the samething when you hate on great systems like the PS3 and 360. all 3 are great. seriously there shouldnt be a reason to bash either one of them.

Damn! And just for the sake of this arguement, I'll compare it's sales to the 360 (nothing against lemmings, all of it against cows):
6 million in about 4 months (Wii) 10 million in 16 months (360)
Obviously, the Wii is selling like fireworks on 4th of July.

Actually....The list doesn't go on. Wii will continue to sell, but this is gonna be one of the biggest droughts ever. Barring rushed crappy 3rd parties trying to make some cash. People will not care about buying the Wii and the drought coming because they only spent $250 on it. This is a fundamental reason why the Wii is selling so well. People feeding the "innovation" are just people who can't afford to buy a real next-gen system.
