Wii bashing is at an all time high these last few days huh?

The reason for the current Wii bashing is...

Spiderman! Spiderman! Does whatever a spider can!

Apparently that includes being subject of a jillion SW threads.

I think the PS3 is easily the most bashed console on here.

If you want to own the other consoles just shove the sales figures in their faces. Wii is completely dominating, its obviously doing something right. By Xmas I bet it passed the Box. 

Why are you letting these hardcore groupies get to you? The Wii is doing fine. Besides, the Wii isn't perfect. 

What makes the Wii such a bad console to the majority here? Its like everything is Nintendo's fault. If Nintendo wins, the insudrty will suck. The Wii sucks because of the hardware. The controller contribues nothing to the indsurty and ect ect Its like the developers never come into play at all. Its never their fault. :?Caramel_Fantasy

a lot of fanboys predicted the wii to be a dreamcast-like flop that will force nintendo into 3rd party

so when the wii went on to dominate the console market and become far and away the most successful console of 2007, those same fanboys are being forced to eat a lot of crow

and one could imagine that fanboys don't like to eat crow

so yeah, the success of the wii has got a lot of these fanboys furious - its quite entertaining to see

yeah you posted this is system wars not a smooth move... you expect to get flamed right?? O.o.... anyways I agree with earlier, the reason the wii is getting bashed so much is the massive amount of horrible ports and screenshots from companies trying to jump on the wii bandwagon. Nintendo really needs to do something to stop all the crap from being released, its really going to hurt the wii's image I think.

Well most of the bashers dont have anything else to do. See.....PS3 kids have no games to play and dont have enough money to keep running out and buying bluray dvds to watch..poor lil rascles.

360 kids have nothing to play cause every time they turn their 360's on, they get the dreaded RED RINGS OF DEATH.....So they just sit around twiddleing their thumbs...

While the whole time Wii fellas get to play our Wii Sports, Wii Play, Rayman, Zelda, Mario, Tiger Woods and all the other great off beat games with our new Wiimotes that bring new life into games that have been done before...

Sorry Panda, you were kinda late to the party. We were busy beating  other fanboys with sticks long before that thread came up.

I bash the wii because I bought it and all I have to play is zelda and spm both cube ports with no upgraded graphics and the wii-mote cuts out when it feels like it, the sound sucks,the price of the retro games is insane,still no online ect. the cube is dead you get the point. However I also bashed my my 360 when it broke and had crappy launch games, also bash the ps3 lack of standard features on psn (F1 no voice support) ect.

If you are not a fanboy then you know the wii sucks right now, no matter how well it's currently selling.

 I don't see how the Wii is such a big deal. All this console wars thing is like a over-exaggerated Pepsi vs. Coke debate. Sure there are issues that are different between gaming consoles and soda but it comes down to the same principle. If you don't like it, don't get it. I wouldn't blame any console for any failure if there is one.

If a game isn't all that great it's because of the creators, not the console, simple as that. That's like blaming the label on a bottle of soda because it tastes bad.
