Your reward for buying them? More crappy games! Meanwhile Ubisoft uses those profits on their 360/PS3 projects which are hella expensive.

Yea, that's what it means. I don't personally know a Wii owner that bought a single game developed or published by Ubisoft. Stop generalizing.

Now that Ubi saw how profitable it can be to develop for the Wii, maybe they'll put more effort in their next games for the system.

Maybe Ubisoft will smarten up and stop being so damn lazy when it comes to developing on a nintendo console.

That's correct, Wendy, every Wii owner bought every Ubisoft game that was released at launch. Anyway, in reality, the only Ubisoft games that sold well, resulting in this increase in profit, were Red Stell and Rayman Raving Rabbids. Which, incidently, are the only two original games they made, the only two that weren't ports. Perhaps that might encourage less ports, more full games?

Why would they now that this came in? Like for example, if i study for 1 min on a test, and i get a 98, why would i study longer for the next game? Its not the best analogy but its there. They'll probably think that they can release crappy games and still make money, which is true. ONly low sales will change this. Or if a good game sells WAYYYY more then the crappy game.

Comedy gold. Fact is Ubi's revenue is 78% larger thanks to wii players and that means a lot of wii owners bought the crap ubi released. That's more likely to generate another crap storm of games courtesy of ubisuck.

Well not entirely true, considering the big sellers were Rayman and Red Steel, now Red Steel was junk, but Rayman was pretty good

Yeah, the games Ubisoft gave the Wii were pretty bad.  Except for Rayman Raving Rabbids, of course.

I think the same. Rayman is short, is only fun in short bursts and lacks replayability. Red Steel is a decent length, it's so action packed and fun and I play the multiplayer quite often.

The ONLY Ubisoft game I'm looking forward too at the moment is Assassin's Creed (PS3 / 360) and if they screw that up, Ubisoft is dead to me.

It shows how people can take advantage of launch games. Anyway, it could encourage more 3rd party support, thus increase the competitiveness, and thus create better games.

Fanboys make me laugh -

First, it's "Nintendo owners only buy Nintendo games, so 3rd parties make no money and won't develop for their system!! WHAAAAAA!!!!! "

Now, it's "Nintendo owners will by any crap 3rd party game and that's terrible for them!! WHAAAA!!!! "

You guys really need to stick to an argument - the constantly changing stances make you look silly...

If you'd actually read the article - you'd see that most of that improvement is because of Rayman and Red Steel - not because of the other craptastic titles they released. Rayman was actually decent.

As if Red steel wasn't craptastic enough. I think that thing even sold more than rayman, and rayman wasn't even that good to make up for that disgusting flop.

Out of curiousity - have you actually played either game? Or, are you just quoting what other people have told you?

I bought 1 Ubi launch game, rented another, and have no desire to buy anything that doesn't come out of Ubi's Montreal or Red Storm Studio.  Even then I'm not buying GRAW2.  They need to learn to use DLC better because the annual game releases for console shooters kill MP communities and I'm not supporting that with my $.

Sheep are desperate for games. After how bad the GC did, they are trying to buy every 3rd party game out there in hopes 3rd parties dont abandon it. I bet you Ubisoft are using their Wii profits to fund the 360/PS3 games.

Ah whats next from them? Prince of Persia Rival Swords? LOL! Sheep are gonna buy this thinking it is an entirely new experience and has superior controls when it is already a game inside The Two Thrones.

Yeah - I'll bet that's it. Every Nintendo owner comes to SystemWars and knows that if they don't spend every dollar on every 3rd party game that comes out, they'll lose support...  :|

...see my post about 5 up - you fit the category nicely.
